We were in town for a friend's memorial service and wanted a place to stay that would give us some ”joy” and a place to refresh on the heels of deep sadness without breaking the bank. Compass in Medford, Oregon gave us what we needed. This place is bright and cheery, a far cry from the drab dark colors of most hotels in this price range. It's super clean from stem to stern, we loved the complimentary FULL breakfast, the restaurant food was delicious (ate there twice), the beds were comfortable, and every staff member was pleasant and helpful. The only complaint was that the music was a bit loud in the restaurant and pool area, but not enough of a complaint to lose a star on this review. If we ever need to stay in Medford again, Compass will be our go-to place. Highly recommend.

Great place about 5 miles from the hustle an d bustle of Ashland. In room hot tub with a real fireplace and complimentary wood. Two recliners and comfy beds. Excellent dinner. Fried zucchini app. Prime Rib and Halibut with veggies. Our server, Forrest, was awesome! Really good entertainment by singer songwriter John. Plays a good guitar and harp. Complimentary continental breakfast was also good. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
