Loved the spacious room, it was a breath of fresh air! Everything was sparkling clean, which is always a plus. The only downside? That AC could drown out a symphony! It made it a little hard to relax, especially at night. Overall though, a really nice stay.

Dated, needs restoration and good old fashioned deep cleaning. Nice staff but food was not great. Our room had a tiny whirlpool tub which was enjoyable but why don't they at least make the tv swivel so you can watch easily while soaking? The carpet was truly disgusting and there were strangely two upholstered chairs at the foot of each bed. Like your grandparents would have had. In fact they probably are your grandparents chairs. They are old and look dirty. Oh well we survived. The restaurant had a nice ambience with an older gentleman singing some jazzy tunes. My burger was over cooked and salty. They were out of fries so offered side salad instead. I didn't receive the salad. We asked for extra extra sauce on the Alfredo as my husband needs moist foods after radiation. The plate was completely dry. I don't know why extra sauce seems impossible to ever receive at any restaurant. Oh well. We survived. But we will likely not return to callahans. Nor recommend it. I think really, they can do better.

Lovely, mountain themed room. Great bar apps too. Bartender, Shaun, was a wealth of knowledge about the area. We experienced a gorgeous, brief, warm summer shower with hail and a double rainbow. They have a nice continental breakfast. Staff at check-in and out were kind and friendly. The bed was a bit squishy so not the most comfy. Had the been better rating would easily be a 5 for us

The property was located in a nice area, staff polite and helpful. On the other hand, the carpet was in need of cleaning, amenities lacking in attention.

Jacuzzi in the Living Room?
We were pleasantly surprised with this great little lodge. My daughters were in LOVE with the jacuzzi and my wife and I thought the grounds were gorgeous. We will definitely come back!

My experience here was amazing the lodge is beautiful the room clean the staff was over the top. Courtesy friendly and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I would recommend to anyone that wants a mountain type getaway

The room was comfortable we had the two room switch fireplace and the hot tub or nice to have the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms leave something to me desired The grounds are beautiful the breakfast and dinner and the lodge was satisfactory
