It was a stop in between yosemite national park and lake tahoe. Easy access for food and quiet neighbour hood

The place was a dump. It smelled like a nursing home. Our bathroom door didn't even close. The whole ceiling in the bathroom was stained. We could here the person in the room next to us clear as day. Glad it was only one night.

The hotel was adequate. Beds very comfortable. There could be some changes that would make it better. Things like spots on carpet, tissue box holder was rusty, we were in a handicapped room. The bench in the shower had mold on it. Cracked tiles on floor of shower. Just go from adequate to good.

The front desk lady was so amazing and accommodating to me and my family, if I remember her name she is a full 5 star and really should be a manager there.

I do not recommend anyone staying here. Was given a key to a room that was already occupied. The front desk argued that it wasn’t occupied. Finally gave me a new room. Water was cold we were told they have been having water heater trouble. Hot tub doesn’t work. Hasn’t worked for months. They didn’t have oatmeal. Hadn’t for several weeks. Milk was in a jug not separate containers. Food was cold. We were told the next day by a different hotel rep that the person who provided a room was the same person who provided the room that was already occupied. The person who was dreadful to work with is a sister to the manager so she wouldn’t be dealt with. Web site says check in at 3 and breakfast at 630. We were told the manager changed check in to 4 and breakfast to 7. I could go on and on but I’m going to stop. $500 for two nights. ****** big time. We frequent Holiday Inn. This was my first and hopefully last poor experience at a Holiday Inn. Hopefully Holiday inn fixes the problems and makes sure this are ran according to the rules and web site they manage and not the will of a wayward manager

The bed was the worst/hardest that I have ever slept on. I might as well slept on a board. I have been using IHG hotels consistently for over 4 years now and this one stands out as being the worst. Me and my wife were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to stay a little closer to home this time. We chose the quaint little town of Jackson, Ca for our get away. The service was very good. My only complaint is the bed. We ended our anniversary trip early due to something that I feel should never be a problem. It is my opinion that I should receive some of my points back for not getting a satisfactory stay. To whom it may concern.
