Red Roof Inn Jackson Downtown - Fairgrounds

Location: Multiple reviews highlighted the hotel’s "ideal location" and proximity to amenities like food, gas stations, and walking distance to attractions.

Arrived to no one at check in desk, only 1 ice machine at the total opposite end of building, air was not running in room upon arrival so it was stale in 98 degree heat outside, room seemed clean but was not... walked on floor barefoot and they were solid black from not being cleaned properly, only 1 sheet and partial cover - no blanket on bed and horrible flat pillows. The biggest issue was at 2:30 am a group rolled into parking lot with loud music, nasty dancers in the parking lot, yellers on the balcony, etc. so I called the front desk to have them put a stop to it... they told ME to call the police. I told them it was their property to manage and I expected them to handle it. I was packed & out the door as soon as sun broke. GHETTO!!!!

It was good. They are doing some remodeling but it didn’t bother me
