Overall, a great place with a luxurious vibe. Dinner was great facing a green forest but we were placed in a table at the corner. There was an aircon light that was so bright it lit up the dark room in a blue glow, making it difficult to sleep. It’s a bit disappointing that the coffee section closes at 7pm so we didn’t have time to enjoy at all. No public onsen so relied on the one in our room.

各方面環境都很滿意，餐食非常不錯，但是不接待小童的日式旅館。是我心目中喜歡的日式温泉旅館。還有一點的是要自駕比較方便。不過酒店應該安排車站接送

Absolutely wonderful experience top to bottom. The service was top notch and the kaiseki dinners were incredible. We used our private onsen morning and night while listening to the roaring river behind us. 100% recommend Ufufu for a romantic and peaceful getaway. Bonus: we scheduled a tour with Jimmy's Izu Tours, the only English speaking guide on the peninsula, and it was fabulous. He was able to provide transport to and from Ufufu for a reasonable charge.

Ufufu is the wonderful blend of top rated hotel and Japanese Ryokan hospitality. It only has seven rooms, sophisticated blend of Japanese design and western efficiency, all with private outdoor balcony with private bath with 24 hour supply of hot spring straight from the source. The establishment is located in the tranquil valley facing the river, surrounded with nature of beautiful Japanese countryside in Izu peninsula only two hours, straight from Tokyo by an express train. Cuisine is just wonderful, with personal attention and great presentations. If you want to soak in gift of Japanese nature, hot spring and the best Japanese cuisine with local taste, this is the must visit. Lastly hotel staffs were wonderful. They address to you with your name. I forgot some gadgets in my room and they contacted me before I realized, and sent them back to my home in Tokyo free of charge. True hospitality does not end with your departure.

伊豆の月ヶ瀬温泉にあるこちら「雲風々」の新館に週末に宿泊しました。 チェックインしてからはバルコニーの露天風呂にのんびり浸かり、日没後に館内のレストランで夕食を頂きました。 レストランは広く、全てカウンター席でした。 私たちの目の前にはガラス越しに、ライトアップされた大きな欅(けやき)がありました。 幕末に植えられた欅とのことで(樹齢170年前後)、迫力のある木でした。 そして私たちが頂いた料理は以下です。 ◯ごぼうすり流し茶碗蒸し、焼き牡蠣 →ごぼうのムースが美味しかったです。トリュフのような甘い味がしました。 ◯前菜: あん肝旨煮、車海老二見焼き、蛤ぬた和え、牛たたき寿司、焼き海老芋、ふぐ唐揚げ、菜の花帆立貝柱お浸し →素晴らしく豪華な前菜盛合せでした。 特にあん肝と帆立の貝柱が美味しかったです。 ◯大根餅 白菜吉野仕立て →あっさり出汁でしたが、出汁が浸みたお餅は程よい甘味で美味しかったです。伊豆白菜も良かったです。 ◯造り: 伊豆近海のクエ、ヒラメ、マグロ赤身 →どれも新鮮でした。特にクエがモチモチで美味しかったです。 ◯天城紅姫 尼子(ヤマメ)姿焼き →頭から尾っぽまで頂きました。塩味が効いて美味しかったです。 ◯伊豆牛ふわすき →「雲風々名物」と謳われている伊豆牛のすき焼きです。泡々たまごとすき焼き肉を混ぜると良い香りが立ち上ってきました。甘くて美味しいすき焼き肉でした。 ◯伊勢海老 ウニ出汁鍋 →ウニと味噌の入った出汁に、伊豆で獲れた伊勢海老と伊豆野菜を入れて煮ました。ウニ味の効いた伊勢海老のお肉は美味しかったです。 ◯雑炊 →ウニをご飯の上に乗せて頂きました。伊勢海老とウニの味がたっぷり浸みた雑炊は大変美味しかったです。 ◯自家製デザート盛合せ ソフトクリーム,クリームブリュレ,わらび餅 → 伊豆半島 大木乳業の牛乳を使った濃厚なソフトクリームでした。手元にある塩やわさびをクリームにかけて頂くと美味しかったです。 飲み物は純米吟醸酒(静岡の臥龍梅や長野の真澄)@1,900円/合を3合頂きました。 魚介、牛肉、野菜、わさびや柑橘系など、伊豆産もしくは静岡県産の食材が豊富に使われていました。あらためて「食材の宝庫 伊豆・静岡」を実感しました。 サービスの方々は皆さん笑顔を絶やさず、丁寧に接客頂きました。 美味しくて、そして楽しい食事でした。 ご馳走様でした。

※７部屋だけの小さなお宿 宿の選択は、客室露天風呂付き、部屋数の少ない宿を基本条件にしています。 一泊二日で「茜香」（ガーデンビュー）のお部屋に宿泊。 12月7日の宿泊当日、チェックインの時間に合わせて、宿の入り口、門のところでスタッフの方々が迎い入れてくれて、駐車場に誘導してくださいました。 「茜香」（ガーデンビュー）は、お部屋、露天風呂、どちらも広くはありませんが、２人で一泊なら十分。 ブラウン系で統一されたお部屋は、落ち着きます。椅子はソファで、くつろげました。 お部屋には、ネスプレッソマシンがあり、コーヒー好きには嬉しい。 露天風呂があるテラスデッキは広く、椅子も２脚あり、開放感がありました。 また、露天風呂のお湯の温度が最適で、のぼせることなく、温泉を満喫しました。 （宿によっては、お湯が熱すぎて調整に時間を要し、露天風呂に入るまでに体が冷えきってしまうことがしばしば･･･。） ダイニングは、正面ガラス張りのカウンター席で、夕食時はお庭がライトアップされ、朝食時は木々の緑を眺めながらいただきました。 食事は、中伊豆の地のものが使われ、体に優しいお味。どれも美味しかったです。 メニューは月替わりで変更されますが、12月の夕食では、伊勢海老と雲丹のお鍋、シメには雑炊。雲丹を堪能して大満足。 朝食は、三段重・プラスワンで配膳され、開けてみないとわからないワクワク感。玉手箱のようです。様々なおかずが入っており、ボリューム満点。（だし巻き*は、他の宿では見られないサイズ感でビックリ） ご飯は、席で釜炊き、炊き立て。 スタッフの方々のつかず離れずの距離感で、プライベートな時間を過ごせました。 チェックアウト後は、フロアスタッフの方々の他に、料理長さんをはじめ、お食事を作ってくださったスタッフの方々も、車から見えなくなるまで見送ってくださいました。 （料理長さん、お食事を作ってくださったスタッフの方々が見送ってくださったのは初めてでした） いろんな宿に宿泊したいので、宿のリピートはしなかったのですが、雲風々はお気に入りの宿になり、2ｶ月後の2月7日にも行って来ました。また季節を変えて宿泊したいです。
