毎年訪れていますが、今回は初めて暑い夏に利用しました。前日の大雨で宿の前を流れている川が濁流となっていましたが、それはそれで珍しい光景となり印象深かったです。 ラウンジには自由に利用できるコーヒーメーカーが新しく設置され、コーヒー好きには有難いシステムです。 他の利用者と出会うことも少なく、貸切風呂や大浴場を楽しめました。 個室での朝夕の食事も満足度が高く、人気がある宿なので、週末や連休はすぐに予約で埋まってしまいます。
