Breezbay Shuzenji Hotel

The location is far from Shuzenji Onsen Street. It takes a quarter of an hour to walk with the luggage. Fortunately, the attractions to be seen are within this range. The hotel requires changing into slippers in the lobby, but you can still walk in with your luggage. I don't know how the floor can be kept clean. In addition, the hotel slippers are cold and slippery, and not convenient to wear. What's even more bizarre is that the hotel doesn't clean the rooms. They just put the towels, bath towels and bed sheets that need to be changed at the door for guests to do it themselves. This is the first time I've encountered such a hotel. Bad review. That is the level of a farm stay. The only good thing was that the dinner was great and rich, with a small hot pot and sea crab legs. The service staff seemed to be Indian, very warm and thoughtful. There was no service in the room or the hot spring house. There were no towels in the hot spring house, and the floor was covered with hair and lint, which was very dirty.

The facilities were old and not very organized, and the corridors were very cold. I was really disappointed when I opened the window in my room and found spider webs and a huge spider. I was looking forward to the food, but the half buffet was a disappointment. It was nice that there was all-you-can-drink alcohol from check-in until the meal. The cave bath was also nice. I wasn't expecting much, but considering the price of the accommodation, I guess it can't be helped overall.

20240825 (Sunday) Stayed here on a family trip. A subsidiary of the Breeze Bay Group, it owns approximately 150 hotels in Japan. They bought a closed hotel, renovated the interior, and operated it as the Breeze Bay Group Hotel. The rear exterior remains intact, but the interior is really nice and looks like a first class hotel if you only look at the interior. The meals are dinner and breakfast buffet, dinner includes kaiseki small meal + buffet + unlimited drinks including wine 🍶♡🥃. And there were activities that day, including my wife's favorite crabs🦀 and my favorite eels all you can eat✨I was very satisfied~😋😋😋 The hot springs include a large indoor bath ♨️Hashidani Rock Bath, an open-air private bath ♨️All-Star Bath☆ that can be reserved at the front desk, and our own private bath ♨️Rock-cut Bath that is carved out of the rock surface. Hashirama Iwaro is an indoor bath, so you can't enjoy the view, but it's spacious and you can relax ✨ There are 5 washing areas with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The dressing room has 2 hairdryers and an air conditioner. The all-star bath is an open-air bath, not big, but you can definitely see the stars at night☆The frog doll is very cute🐸Washing area 1, shampoo is provided, and the changing room is also integrated, outside, so there is air conditioning, but no hair dryer. It's a pity that the hose spoils the view a bit. If the light at the entrance to the cave baths is lit red, it means you are bathing, and if the light is off, it means it is empty. There seemed to be three baths inside, but one was not available due to adjustment work, one was a hot spring, and the rest were cold baths. There is indeed a dignified atmosphere ✨ There are 3 washing areas, shampoo is provided, and the changing rooms are air-conditioned, but there are no hair dryers. The parking lot is located in the first parking lot next to the narrow uphill in front of the hotel, with about 10 parking spaces, the second parking lot is in front of the slope, and the third parking lot is further away. There is no bicycle parking lot. When you check in at the front desk, there will be a yukata next to it, so it is best to bring a yukata that suits your size🙆♀️ There are many putter golf and table games for rent next to the front desk. The table tennis in the game room 🏓, the comics in the leisure room 💆♂️, the massage chairs, and the karaoke 🎤 room are all free to use, have fun 😁 Many of the hotel staff are foreigners. Although it is awkward, they still try their best to provide service. However, during the meal, the staff politely directed me to the wrong seat (I think she acted a bit like the boss lady). Apologize and say, “I’m sorry I made you feel uncomfortable.” I feel better about how I felt. I think the price of around 9,000 yen per adult per night for such a service is quite reasonable ✨ I didn’t know there was a Breeze Bay tour before, but I will definitely check it out in the future 😆

The entire facility is old and it is complicated to get to the room. On the way to the hot springs, the floor was very slippery. The meal is so-so... I only like unlimited refills of alcohol during dinner.

The owner is unfriendly. I made a mistake and made a reservation for one person, but when I said that two people would share the same room, they tried to trick me into paying double the price.
