Be prepared to listen to the music from the hotel restaurant in your room facing the sea from the very morning (6:30) to the very night. Extremely annoying! Would be glad to know who masterminded such a distraction! At such a beautiful place listening to the sea would certainly suffice!

This is a really nice place to stay, it overlooks the Marina and the beach is just a few steps away. The breakfast was excellent, even for me with food sensitivities there was plenty of choice. The staff were extremely helpful if you had any questions. The room was comfortable but the only thing I would say about our room was that when I went to open the curtains to let some light in I discovered a shutter and behind that a lady sitting on her balcony that I could of shaken hands with becauseshe was so close. So we left the curtains closed. Apart from that the room was comfortable and we had a wonderful stay here and would happily stay again.

Hotel Marina is located right on the waterfront at Izola, and 20 minutes from Piran. We had a King Superior room, which was fine for us (2 adults and one child). It had a huge balcony with sunloungers on it and a view of the marina and the sea. The hotel is just a few metres from the main swimming area and a short stroll to the centre of Izola, which is a pretty little town with a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants. We didn't need to try any of these because the jewel in the crown of Hotel Marina is the restaurant, which serves fantastic seafood. We ate there every night because it was so good! The staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful and welcoming, and were very kind when our son was injured in the sea. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great base to explore the Slovenian coast.

Such a nice hotel and great restaurant. The staff and servers are friendly and helpful. We had 3 rooms. 1 balcony with Sea View, 1 balcony with Marina View (there is construction on the marina at the time we were visiting) and 1 Sea View view room. All the rooms are comfortable and linens very nice. Izola is a beautiful little town and we enjoyed the sunset walk in evenings.

Spent a wonderful week top class hotel and restaurant made by the staff for whom nothing was to much trouble,always pleasant ,helpful and professional. Rooms excellent with great sea view and spacious balcony. Highly recommend a visit you wont be disappointed

Superb hotel. Welcome, room, bedding, breakfast, ... and the view! We took a room with a view which overlooked the sea and the city. Stunning. We had a magnificent sunset. The hotel restaurant is also very good. Truly a great experience :)

The current construction site directly in front of the hotel is somewhat of a nuisance. The rooms are rather average in terms of furnishings and comfort, but relatively expensive. The standard rooms have a view of the back courtyard, the premium rooms face the front, with a terrace - unfortunately with unpleasant background noise from both the restaurant guests in the evening and the harbor early in the morning. The restaurant offers good food (4-course menu) but at very high prices.

We had a great holiday with our 5-year-old daughter in this hotel and in Slovenia in general. The super-insulated windows are particularly great - we slept really well as a result, even though there was a lot going on in the harbor in the evenings and mornings. We also didn't hear the construction site at the harbor at all. The beach is right around the corner and is one of the most beautiful we found on the coast. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and the breakfast was also very good. Sitting on the terrace for breakfast every day is an absolute highlight, which is why we also had dinner here three out of four evenings. We would come back anytime

Facing the sea, this small, unpretentious hotel is very comfortable and very friendly. Well received by true professionals, my room with sea view on the 4th floor was very comfortable and spacious. Well soundproofed (even if at the moment the port construction site is making noise), good bedding and even if we would like the TV not to turn on as soon as we turn on the power, the room was very good. The perfect breakfast in terms of variety, quality of products and can be taken on the terrace. The only downside is the coffee! I regretted not having tried the restaurant.
