The breakfast in the restaurant is delicious 😋 We parked our car in the parking lot 🅿️ for the isolation car to crash, but the hotel 🏨 did not help to follow up. The staff said they would help to watch the cctv, but in the end nothing happened, which made me very disappointed

We booked an Executive Club Suite expecting a 5-star standard, but unfortunately, the reality fell far short. The décor was outdated, the room felt dark and basic, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. The website’s images are highly misleading, presenting a far more polished impression than what we encountered on arrival. Despite marketing themselves as family-friendly, the resort does not cater well to children. There is no dedicated kids’ menu, children under 12 are not allowed in the main pool, and the “kids’ pool” is extremely small. The atmosphere was also disappointing – staff appeared disengaged and unwelcoming, which added to the overall negative experience. We had booked for five nights but felt compelled to leave after just one night and relocate to another 5-star property nearby that delivered on its promises. The only positive is the location, which is undoubtedly beautiful and likely the reason for its current status. As frequent international travellers, we cannot understand how this property can legitimately market itself as a true 5-star resort. I don’t understand what I’m missing and why the reviews are glowing. I do have a suspicion that guests are “encouraged” to leave positive reviews.

My two kids (14 and 18) and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We have visited Rhodes several times and tried quite a few hotels, but Villa De Mara truly stands out as one of the best. We stayed in a suite with a private pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel is located right by the ocean. While there is no sandy beach, guests are welcome to swim in the sea — something we also did and loved. The hotel has an excellent bar and restaurant, perfect for enjoying the beautiful sunsets. There are also several good restaurants in the neighborhood, literally just across the street. If your budget allows, we give this hotel our highest recommendation.

Just came back from two weeks at Villa Di Mare. Great experience! Would like to highlight the beautifully decorated and spacious room (Superior club suite), professional and friendly staff, comfortable bed, really good/quiet air condition, thorough daily cleaning of the room, amazing breakfast with loads of options, comfortable sunbeds (with no sunbed war in the mornings) and beautiful pool area. The hotel is close to a ton of restaurants and just a 10 min taxi drive to Rhodes city centre. Would highly recommend staying here. It’s a small and intimate hotel, just the oppsite of the crowded all inclusive places everywhere else. The only thing we didn’t like was the loud music by the pool during weekends. Guess we’re getting old.. A special thanks to Athena who helped us with everything we needed during our stay.

Review From the moment we were met at the airport to the moment your driver kindly took us back, everything was nigh on perfect. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming , the room was excellent with a lovely, cool plunge pool, the pool area itself was lovely and the view was wonderful. What we loved most was that this is not a huge, impersonal tower block hotel but a genuine oasis of calm (even being just on the main road) with a lovely, warm, homely feel. And if you are looking to be close to a shul for Shabbat , Habad is literally next door. 5 star luxury with 6 star service in a 10 star setting! Thankyou all again - we can’t wait to return.

Εξαιρετικά καθαρός και προσεγμένος χώρος! Πανέμορφη πισίνα,πεντακάθαρη,σχετικά λίγες ξαπλώστρες ώστε να μη γίνεται συνωστισμός... Το φαγητό στο ξενοδοχείο είναι εντυπωσιακό: από το πρωινό (που δεν είναι μπουφές) μέχρι το bar της πισίνας και το εστιατόριο. Κλείσαμε δωμάτιο με μια μικρή ιδιωτική πισίνα που μας επέτρεπε να είμαστε στο νερό ακόμη και μετά το κλείσιμο της κεντρικής πισίνας.. (το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα ). Εξαιρετικός κλιματισμός στο δωμάτιο!!! Το πιο εντυπωσιακό όμως κατά τη γνώμη μου ήταν το καταπληκτικό προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου (από την υποδοχή έως το bar και το εστιατοριο και το προσωπικό καθαριότητας). Διακριτικά παρόν, ευγενέστατη και με πολύ καλή διάθεση. Ανυπομονούμε να ξανάρθουμε!!!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Di Mare, staying in the superior suite with private pool. All the staff were so attentive and the room and private pool was phenomenal. Cannot recommend the restaurant enough, we ate there twice in the evening as the quality of the food was unmatched as was the service. Perfect stay!!
