It is a new and clean building in a hotel located in front of the station. The parking lot is on the back side beyond the track, so it is close by foot, but it takes about 10 minutes by car. If you go by car, it is recommended to stop in front of the hotel and then move to the parking lot after receiving the explanation. The room was small but new and clean, and the water pressure of the hot water was good. It seems to be a business hotel, so if you can choose, the room away from the elevator is recommended. If you stay in the front room, you can hear the voice guide at the arrival of the elevator. There was a public bus and it was good to put it in the foot. It was a little disappointing that I couldn't use it because I had a large powder room at present. There was a little trouble about the parking fee, but I was very polite in the exchange by the phone. The hotel that responds firmly at such a time can stay with peace of mind. I will do it here if I go nearby again.

I started visiting Okura hotel in Hamamatsu since March 2010 and this hotel and its wonderful staff has always been consistent in delivering exceptionally wonderful service. The hotel is located strategically next to Hamamatsu train station which makes it very convenient to get to. Act City Mall is located next to the hotel and it’s a convenient place to shop. There’s also many restaurants and bars which are located not more then 10 minutes walk from the hotel. If you get a view at one of the higher floors, you will get an awesome view of Hamamatsu city. There are many restaurants in the hotel as well as the complex where the hotel is located. The hotel is decorated with music themes and I like how the elevator has Chopin’s music notes on it. Exceptionally classy and beautiful hotel!

最初駅から向かった時に迷ってしまい(GPSつけながら向かったのですが、私が方向音痴なのとGPSがうまく作動しなかった為)地元の方に聞いてやっと着きました。何の事はない私が大回りしていただけで、JR浜松駅中央の通路を遠鉄百貨店と反対の方に出れば、5分程で着きます。有名な餃子屋さん(むつ菊)はホテルの裏にあります。 着いて荷物を預けた時にアメニティについて特に説明が無かったのですが、部屋着や綿棒、フットピロー等はフロントに言えば借りられます。エレベーター横に部屋着、綿棒等は置いてあります。部屋は広くはないですが、清潔で使いやすかったです。私は机の前の椅子には座らず、もっぱらベットからテレビを見ていました。 2泊しましたが朝食は日替わりで、パンの種類も変わりました。スムージーもです。１日目はウナギご飯を食べそびれたので、2日目は早めに行き食べる事が出来ました！種類は多くないですが、無料の朝食はありがたかったです。 一つ中々慣れなかったのが洗面所の蛇口です。最後までどっちに回せば蛇口？シャワー？ってなっていました(自分が慣れなかっただけです。。)お風呂にお湯を入れる時に、蛇口の長さが少し足りない気がしました。 あとよかったのはウェルカムドリンクです。１４時からコーヒー、レモン水が飲めます(コーヒーはもっと早くから飲めた気もします) 全体的にとても良いホテルライフでした。また機会があれば他のコンフォートホテルにも泊まってみたいです。

I spent five nights in the Kakegawa Grand Hotel in September 2019. The hotel is not too expensive but very close to the downtown and the train station. I saw the hotel as we pulled into the train station and I walked to dinner each night to a different restaurant. The Kakegawa Castle was a short walk to the end of the street. The hotel was clean and the staff spoke English with varying degrees of proficiency. Breakfast was good with plenty of western foods in addition to the Japanese items. Eggs cooked to order and a pot of brewed coffee were nice features. A very pleasant stay and I hope to return someday.

Stayed on the Executive Floor. Very clean, comfortable, firm and wide double bed with somewhat hard pillows. The room was spacious with a nice desk and rolling chair, and another wooden chair with a back massage pillow. Wifi was stable. Pajamas were thick. Declined the daily cleaning, however housekeeping staff hooked a bag of fresh towels, pajama set, green tea and bottled water to the door each day. Safety box above a small fridge. Amenity station in the lobby with assorted bath salts and other supplies. Also, liked the blackout shades that converted to a gentle screen. Check out the daily Happy Hour from 5 - 8pm just before dusk to have a pretty view of Hamamatsu station as the sun goes down. Had a variety of drinks, alcohol and rice cracker snacks. Overall, a great, convenient location. The annoying thing was I kept hearing faint knocking sounds from the plumbing or vents throughout my week long stay. For light sleepers, this can be a deciding factor. Will try another hotel next time.

There is a convenience store on the first floor near the station. It is also a short walk to downtown and there is no problem with the location. The response of the employees is also good impression. There is a feeling of cleanliness. We were able to upgrade our room this time and spend more comfortably. This room was the west end of the north side, so I can take a picture of Enshu Railway from the window of the room (the hotel is right next to the far iron elevated line), so I think it is a happy room for railroad fans. It is troublesome to do it only by the machine next to the front desk. If you make the name etc. fill in at the front desk, it is more efficient to advance to the liquidation by the flow.

It was an inn in a complex building, and it was a facility like a spa and a cartoon cafe. Because it was near the station, there were many restaurants around, and it was convenient to have a food court and fast food shop in 1F of the building. The hall was new and kept clean. The common space is large and there is plenty of work space, so you can read manga and put it in hot springs and saunas. The sliding door of the cabin type room was not locked, but a sensor key of the wristband was required to enter the living area, and a diamond where valuables could be placed on the living desk. There was a Le-type locker. Also, it seemed that large lockers could be used if you get the key at the front desk. The inside of the building was only available for spa (no accommodation), and it felt like local young children were also using it, but it didn't feel noisy in the shared space, and the living space was quiet. The point that I want to improve is the staff's response guide at check-in. At check-in, I was told that the room number and the entrance and exit of the living area required a key, but there was no guide map in the hall at the front desk, ”There is a guide in the hall in the back and a detailed guide to the room. Please look at it.” The front desk staff immediately started talking with each other. For those who use it for the first time, even if it was said that there was a guide in the hall ”in the back”, it was not a pointer or a guide to where the ”inner” was actually, so I searched for a guide board. It took me a while to find my room. I think it's good to have you read the information on the use of the building in the file in the living room, but at least use the information map in the building at the front desk, ”the location of the front room, the route to the room” I think it's better to have you guide me. I think there is a lot of room for improvement as a front desk job to neglect the response of the customer and increase the time to talk between the staff. There was inconvenience in responding at check-in, but the response of the front desk at check-out and the cleaning staff at the time of use in the building were very polite and pleasant.

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Concorde for 5 days in August, and we enjoyed a lovely and very memorable experience during our stay. The lobby is very big, but furniture and decor is a little dated and could do with an eventual renovation. A good front desk/reception staff is the hallmark of a great hotel. As non-Japanese visitors to a less frequented area of Japan, we expected to have some difficulties communicating in Hamamatsu. Though this was largely the case, we were pleasantly surprised at the lengths hotel staff would go to in order to ensure we had a good experience. We arrived at around noon, earlier than the supposed 3pm check-in time. Our luggage from Tokyo had been sent via luggage delivery service, and the front desk informed us that all our luggage would be kept securely in the room and would be available upon check-in. We passed the time in the hotel restaurant - understandably, some staff could not understand us at first but made every possible effort to try and communicate with us. The hotel restaurant (which also serves daily buffet breakfast, lunch, and à la carte dinner) had a decent selection and we found it sufficient for our needs. Upon check-in at 3pm, we received complimentary water bottles and a single physical key to our room. Unfortunately, this is the only key, making staying in a room with other people a little inconvenient. Elevators are fast and frequent, offering access to coin laundry, food and beverage vending machines, ice machines, an unagi and a Japanese restaurant, as well as guest rooms. An amenity station is provided at the entrance to each floor, where guests can help themselves to instant tea and coffee, toiletries, and even a clothing press. Rooms are basic but clean and practical. Adapters are provided upon request. There are robes and slippers within the drawers, a bag for dirty towels, and tea bags. One feature my family appreciated was a laundry status channel on the television, in which guests can see which laundry machines are in use, and how much time each has left. Our room had an amazing view of the Hamamatsu City Hall and the Hamamatsu Castle. The housekeeping schedule can be variable - there was one day where the maids were just getting started on our room at 3pm. However, cleaning seems to be fast and efficient. In terms of location, we eventually settled on the Hotel Concorde due to its proximity to a friend's apartment. It is about a 15-minute walk from the Hamamatsu train station. A Family Mart is located just across the street, and there is a beautiful Starbucks location in the Hamamatsu Castle park. Taxis don't seem to pass by the area too often, but hotel staff can always make a call for you. Though there isn't a large selection of restaurants nearby, most locations are within a 10-minute walk. Stayed for 3 nights while touring Nagoya through to Shizuoka. Chose this hotel as I am a member. Not sure what benefits do I get as a foreigner but I think I can accumulate points for future use. Checkin was a breeze. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Minimal English is spoken. There is paid parking around the hotel. The room was a twin room with ample space for a large suitcase. Room was clean n came with free coffee and tea bags. Room was facing the traffic but the noise level was minimal. There is quite a lot of restaurants about 400m in the bustling nightlife street. The JR station is about 950m walking distance. Daiwa Roynet hotel has a much closer location to the JR station if you don’t drive. The Okura Act hotel has one of the best view if you willing to splurge on the top floors. The rooms start from the 30th floor,

Use for a night stay at fukuroi kakegawa kakemori Cho sightseeing. The parking fee was 1000 yen in the municipal parking lot. It seems that the fee is also charged on the premises. It is a good view because you can see kakegawa Jo castle from the room and hot springs. One room, but I gave ２ card keys for two stays. I tried without waiting after the hot spring. A little convenient.
