湯本駅から徒歩５分と便利。 ・温泉 温泉は内湯のみで、7～8人は入れる広い浴槽。 源泉掛け流しで24時間入れる（AM10-12の清掃時間除く）。 ・部屋 泊った部屋は外の眺望はなく、隣のビルの外壁が見えるだけ。 洗浄機付きトイレ、バスタブあり。Wifiは十分に強く問題なし。 冷水ポット、お茶請けはなし。 敷布団が薄く背中が痛くなったので、押し入れからもう一枚敷布団を出して重ねて敷いたら寝心地が改善。 ・食事 隣接した1Fの食堂で取る。軽めの夕食コースのせいか刺身が少なめだったが、全体的に満足。 お茶、ほうじ茶、コーヒーが自由に飲めるサーバーあり。

駅からはやや距離があるホテル。季節外れの夕立に遭い、ずぶ濡れになってしまった。温泉街にあるが、温泉は小さく、温泉はメインとなっていない。食事は居酒屋のようなスペースがあり、そこで夕・朝も食事をすることができる。店の名が「鮮の宿」ということもあり期待していったが、一般的な居酒屋料理であった。値段を考えると、可もなく・不可もなくといったところ。いわき地区にいったついでに泊まるのなら良いが、ここを目指して泊まりに行くようなところではなかった。
