Koito Ryokan

湯本は割と無名ですが、ひなびた温泉宿がすきなら、東京から二時間でここに来ましょう。この辺の宿は朝ごはんだけのプランになってて、商店街との共存を図っているそうです。この宿は部屋は和風でセットの朝食も和風ですが、ディナーをここで食べると結構上等なフレンチ風料理でとても美味しいです。お風呂はどこでも泉質は同じと思いますが、露店風呂、家族風呂もあり満足しました。

[Location] This is the farthest inn from Yumoto Station. But it takes less than 10 minutes. The parking lot is on the other side of the road. (The pedestrian crossing is 20m ahead.) The parking lot has lines drawn so that you can only park vertically. If you don't want to be at the very back, you might have to arrive early. 40 seconds to the convenience store (Lawson). 1 minute to the nearest foot bath. After checking out, I parked my car and enjoyed the foot bath in front of the station while eating ice cream. [Room] The south side is 1000 yen more expensive than the north side. If you plan to relax until around 9am, you should choose the south side. The futon is laid out when you enter the room. (This is helpful for me because I can take a nap.) The elevator can accommodate up to 9 people. In reality, it is full with 4-5 people. Wi-Fi is available. There are no tea and snacks, which are common in inns. There is a tea set, but there were only three stick-type teas. Preparation is required. [Bath] The approach is long, as you have to go down to the first floor and go through an underground passage. However, there are no steps to the bathhouse, and I think that even wheelchair users can move around without any problems if they are accompanied by an assistant. It may be a long way for people with disabilities to walk on their own. The men's bath has two baths, "hot (about 43 degrees?)" and "lukewarm (about 40 degrees?)," and an open-air bath. The baths are nice. You cannot enter between midnight and 5:00. A male staff member was in charge of checking the baths and changing rooms. That's good! [Dinner] None. There are many izakayas and restaurants near the station, so it's fine. The closest one is the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel next door, or the convenience store next to it. It would have been nice if they had provided more detailed information. The leaflet with the cover of Chairu that was placed in front of the elevator hall was more useful than the leaflet I received at the reception desk. It may be assumed that you will look it up on the Internet, but I was hoping for some information unique to local information, such as "The recommended restaurant in ** is ***", so it's disappointing. [Breakfast] 7:30-9:00. Eat at the bar on the first floor in the evening. Since it's basically a bar, it was a little difficult to eat because of the height of the chairs and tables. The side dishes are catered. You can get hot rice and miso soup. Natto, nama*, furikake, cold water, and coffee are self-service. There are no poached eggs... The foot bath is only one minute away, so I wonder if it's possible to get nama*, finish it in 12 to 13 minutes, and eat it? I'll ask next time I stay.
