Last time I chose ”room with hot springs”, but this time I stayed in a Japanese room with 8 tatami mats. (It's the cheapest plan) The view is on the other side of the room with a hot spring, and you shouldn't expect it because you can only see the cityscape. Also, although there is no indoor bath, there is a large communal bath, so there is no problem. The large communal bath changes daily, but both are large baths and have good hot water. There is also a hot spring area so you can relax. Now it seems normal to park in the second parking lot (plane) a little far from the first parking lot (mechanical parking lot). But please note that it is a little far away. Well, there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away, so it's a good plan for traveling alone, and I think it's good because you can relax. If you want to luxury, there are various plans, so I think it is good to choose and stay.

It was an inn in Satoyama. I arrived at 14:00 at check-in and I think it was probably the second customer, but I had to wait a long time. I couldn't help it, so I waited while drinking a drink at the drink corner. There was no guide to write the inn book first. I thought that I could finally check in, but the person in charge (male) was uncomfortable with doing this procedure and talking to different customers here and there. The explanation of the inn and the check-in procedure were not advanced easily. It's my first inn, so I wanted you to get through at least. However, when I was taking a picture outside, a different staff came out immediately and took a picture of the two, and it was a polite customer service. The bath was said to be used from 15 o'clock even though it was check-in at 14 o'clock, and both I was quite disappointed. However, before 15:00 (around 14:30?), All three keys to the private bath were gone, and some people were already in it. By the way, the room on the 3rd floor was a Japanese-Western style room and was spacious 々. It feels like you can see the garden of Satoyama from the window of the room. The connecting was looking at the garden all the time in the window seat. The room is quite dark lighting. There is an atmosphere, but it may have been a little too dark for me. The room key was ２ book and it was convenient. You can choose from ３ types of small plates. The dessert coffee pudding and sorbet were delicious. The customer service of the person in charge of the restaurant was polite and very good. Breakfast time was 8 o'clock, but there was no ８ time, so I made it 7:30. I had it at the counter seat of a restaurant different from last night. As for the counter table, it was not good that the spills of yesterday and the tableware were attached. The breakfast content with the item was good. You can choose Western or Japanese food. The meal and bath were good, so it seems that I will use it again.

Because it is a meeting seat, I think it is usual that there is no big main like the western food course. You can book a grade up at a different rate in advance. The beer was the best while watching the sea on the hot terrace. It was easy to drink and delicious beer, and the terrace was almost full. Until the terrace seat was empty, I relaxed on the indoor sofa or brought a drink to the room. There were many good people in manners and it was a quiet hot water place. Ocean view from the room and the open-air bath. Recommended for those who like sea and beer, tea and apple vinegar. It is not suitable for people who want a large room and a bathtub in the room. The point to improve is that more than 3 people stay in the dog room and install an outlet with EV code. Currently, only Tesla can be charged with hanging. Other manufacturers car EV brings the required code.

I stayed at KAI Ito for two nights for a long overdue and precious family reunion. It seems that a good chunk of their guests stay for just one night, but we stayed two, because we traveled far to get there. First night was fine (acceptable for what they charge), but the second day was disappointing. Beware. They are NOT geared for Renpaku (continuous stays)! 1. We declined room cleaning (e.g. no vacuuming) after the first night, but they said they would refresh amenities (new towels, etc.) We got fresh towels, but they left used tea cups and glasses uncleaned. We had to call to replenish toilet papers. I had to go to the front desk, because the fresh yukata (bath robes) they gave me was of wrong size. They didn't replenish drinking water. All in all, we had to call at least four times to get everything right for the second night. This would be okay for a basic business hotel, but we were staying in a fine resort.... 2. We followed a recommendation from our nakai-san (person assigned to take care of us) to take a bus to Mt. Ohmuro and take a lift up to the top for a ”spectacular view of Izumo Peninsula.” It turned out this lift had been shut down for at least a week for a two-week repair, and we learned about it at the bus station (there was a tiny sign in Japanese about the closure). I told a lady at the front desk about the closure, but the reaction I got was a curt ”Oh, excuse us.” I also mentioned we were able to find another nice place to visit, and she said, ”That's nice.” I wasn't sure if this lady would share the info with others, so they would stop giving wrong advice to more guests.... 3. Meals are highlights of a stay at a Japanese resort, but KAI didn't make an effort to serve a different menu on the second night. The meal was very similar to the first night with only minor variations. It was different from our experiences at other fine resorts in Japan (including another Hoshino resort.) There was also a bunch of other things that made us wonder about this place (too minor to remember but bothersome in their entirety). By the checkout time, everyone in our party was just ready to go. Instead of enjoying hospitality, I felt I was being forced to accommodate the way they wanted to run their place. Again, okay for a basic hotel but way below expectations for a place like KAI.

The refrigerator did not get cold and the beer I bought became lukewarm. The bedside could only charge USB. (Power is required to charge the smartphone at high speed) I didn't notice that the glass cup was in the drawer. The glass cup was dirty and I didn't feel like using it. [Toilet] With washlet. Clean. [Washing basin] It's small enough to have no place to put things, but it's beautiful. There is no towel to wipe your hands. Only paper towels are left. Hair dryer is good in Saronia. [Room bath] It was old and moldy. [Japanese-style room] It didn't smell like cigarettes as much as the bedroom. There was no pen or memo paper. The teacup was thin, so when I poured hot water, it became hot and I couldn't hold it. The comforter looked fluffy and nice. The actress mirror was good! [Large bath] Slippers were devised so that they would not mix with others. It was good that there was an open-air bath, a hot bath, a hot water, and a hot water! [Guest room] It was quiet without the sound of the next room, the sound of the upper room, and the sound of people walking in the corridor. [Cooking] It was delicious, but there was no particular personality. [Yukata] The guideline for choosing the size was written in height, but the width was too large, so I changed it to one size smaller. [General review] It was good because the age group of customers was high and the atmosphere was calm. The Japanese style room was divided into Western style rooms and Japanese style rooms, so I thought it could be used for families with puberty children and families of two generations.

The old private house was relocated from all seven rooms surrounded by ITO Kowakuen for seven years. All different rooms are made with an open-air bath without a roof for two people with a source hanging. When a small amount of good goods came out, it was a pity that I was associated with fish dishes. Breakfast can be selected with camus or dried cherry blossoms. The content was normal. It is a recommended inn for those who like hot springs because it puts in the open-air bath of the source hanging flow while adjusting the temperature of the favorite until 11 o'clock of check-out.

The golf course that Mt. Fuji looks beautiful for one night in the golf pack is well maintained. As for the facilities, the hot spring was small and I felt that there was an open-air bath. Fuji, but the room changed badly. But the paint of the window of the dark room where the course was visible was peeled off, and it was scared to come out. The lobby ceiling has many rain leaks and is expected to be renovated.

I used it for a few days back, but I stayed for the first time. It is convenient to use the day-trip hot spring hall after checking out on the day of the stay. The pool is also available at a discount price and full of elements that can be enjoyed quite. The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator). The public bath is a great view open-air bath as well as a day trip. It becomes a little narrow version. It is a great view whenever you go.

This ryokan is small, clean and lovely and warm. Our room (Oshima Room) was large with new tatami mats and lovely comfortable futons. The breakfast included in the room rate was delicious and home cooked in the traditional Japanese way. There are two bathhouses and we used them both on our two night stay. They are both clean and well maintained and you book them for private use. Close to supermarket and restaurants, it is walking distance t the Izu-Kogen railway station. The hosts were friendly and drove us to the start of the Jogasaki Coast Walk and Mt Omaru. Would definitely stay here again. There are many attractions in the area
