AVOID AVOID AVOID. See the photos. Unfortunately the SMELL cannot be photographed. This hotel is a dump, the odor is tremendous in the room, and desperately needs to be shut down to remediate mold and renovate. It will skeeve you out - if that's a word. Moldy shower, stains on the carpet, chipped and beaten-up furniture. TV from the 1990's. And I arrived so late I paid $300 for this? And I had no time to find another hotel and room (event in Ithaca) and had to stay a SECOND NIGHT. Front desk person said she "didn't know who owns the property." Hmmm.

We enjoyed our stay. The motel is clean, quiet and the suite was great. We are Choice Hotel members and have been for years. The only negative was the $150.00 being held on our credit card. It isn’t a problem other than I have to check daily to make sure it drops off. We were not advised of this being placed either which is not a very professional way to do business. Just an annoyance to keep checking daily but, not a deal breaker either. We would most definitely stay here again.

We paid over $500 per night for a motel that was not only run-down, but outright unsanitary. Unfortunately, due to the lack of available accommodations during graduation week in Ithaca, we had no choice but to stay here. The bathroom had bugs, most of the dresser handles were broken, and the couches were badly stained. Even worse, the so-called “Manager” displayed a consistently rude and dismissive attitude throughout our stay. Basic customer service was non-existent. We received no room cleaning for the entire five-day stay. When we requested additional towels, the Manager gave us an unwarranted hard time. The situation at checkout was even more egregious: they outright refused to provide us with a receipt or even tell us our balance, insisting that we would simply receive an email. For the outrageous price charged for what amounted to a filthy, two-star motel, the utter lack of professionalism and service was completely unacceptable.

We were so hesitant to stay here after booking it without seeing the reviews first- so we had very very low expectations and were pleasantly surprised! Our suite was very clean, definitely rough around the edges with the furniture showing signs of age and disrepair (why not replace the broken furniture?) but the beds were comfortable, shower pressure was good, room was quiet. Parking was easy, check in was easy, breakfast was included and my kids loved the waffle machines, cereal and bacon. We also loved the free cookies and lemonade in the lobby. We had read beforehand that the pool was not in service. We would absolutely stay here again for the price. It’s a solid 3 star hotel, hence the 3 star review here.

The outside presentation of the property was poor. Inside the hotel, the hallways were dirty with stains and wet spots on the carpeting. The ice machine ran constantly with a sound of running water. The hotel's pool was in need of repair and shut down during the stay. The daily breakfast looked adequate, but the dining area floors and tables were dirty so we decided that we shouldn't eat without risking health issues. The hotel room (first floor) was dark and dirty, with food remnants left on chairs. The dresser was broken with missing handles and drawers that couldn't open or close without significant effort. The bathroom had a tub with a visible dirt ring around it. We wiped it down to see if it was a stain, but it was not. Just poorly cleaned.
