Our group of 12 had dinner at the Kerio View restaurant. The staff on the phone were very accommodating and quick to arrange our pre- ordered dinner. The food was good- but vegetarian options were limited. If you’re a big group, I definitely recommend ordering ahead. The views were amazing and overall, a great place to have a dinner!

Fantastic view, however the food was terrible. I ordered the pork chop but what I got was probably a piece of meat that I cannot describe. All it had was bone and fat. You need to improve the food quantity. Hope the next time I visit my experience with the food would be better.

Lovely setting, helpful & friendly owner and staff, will go back in a flash! All the food was great, varied and fresh. Great views over the Rft Valley. Beautiful well kept peaceful gardens. I understand why elite atheletes want to come here to train

In Elgeyo Marakwet county, I've been staying at various hotels since Monday. But let me give a shout-out to Kerio View for their exceptional service! Minutes ago, it started raining heavily, and the cold became unbearable. Out of the blue, one of the hotel staff knocked on my door with a smile, kettle, cup, and teabags. It felt like a divine intervention, and I can't thank them enough for their thoughtfulness. So, here I am, sipping on my cuppa, feeling all godsent and grateful for Kerio View's thoughtfulness. I mean, I already loved them for their scenic vistas, but now they've won my heart for their considerate gestures too! Move over, posh hotels with fancy amenities; it's all about the small, tea-filled miracles. After long days in the field and dealing with emails, it's great to have a hotel that takes such good care of its guests!

You couldn't pick a better spot for a lodge, perched on the east- facing edge if the Rift Valley looking across to Kaberle in the Tugan hills, and beyond to th eastern edge and the Laikipia plateau. The dining room and bar command this great view as fo the many stars in the gardens below. The wind can be quite strong and cool at this altitude, so keep a sweater handy! The rooms are a basic bedroom and ensure bathroom. Most things work - shower, hairdryer, etc. but is in need of update. The food in the restaurant is simple but well prepared. All up a good place to stay as you explore the Kerio and northern Rift.
