In linea generale consiglierei di non scendere sotto le 4 stelle in paesi extraeuropei , hotel modestissimo, apparentemente pulito ma non troppo, perdita di acqua dal piatto doccia, bagno minuscolo, siliconato in modo maldestro ovunque, la carta da parati sembrava messa da un bambino di 6 anni, materasso debordante dalla rete, lenzuola strette, colazione modestissima per la parte europea , fortunatamente personale gentilissimo, simpatico e molto disponibile

I highly recommend this hotel, centrally located in the city and surrounded by many local bars and typical restaurants. The rooms are very nice, and the cleanliness is impeccable. We arrived very early from airport and arrangements were made for us to shower and sleep for a few hours in a different room until our room was ready. We were also allowed to have breakfast. Sema at reception was very friendly and accommodating. She advised and helped with various bookings for sightseeing, taxi transfers and dinner bookings on a boat cruising the Bosphorus with dancing show. Also from reception was Furkan and Õmer. They were also most friendly and accommodating. Sema also made sure everything was perfect for us staying at the hotel the whole time during our stay in Istanbul. All staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is centrally located to many restaurants, pubs and shops to choose from. Istiklal Street is 2min walk away. Metro and tram 3min away. Room was perfect with everything a guest could wish for. Great vibe outside the door on the street, especially at night. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, nice and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Abundant and delicious breakfast. Extra nice helpful staff. We have chosen this hotel according to good reviews on ***********, which apparently was mostly due to good management at the time. On arrival we noticed that the management already changed to our bad luck. First of all the hotel is located in a street full of bars and clubs which makes night sleep absolutely impossible as noise goes on till 4am. (Needs double glazing) Breakfast included which is the minimum you could get , although that is the best part of service. Rooms : Ac is operated by reception desk you can’t adjust the temperature. Some rooms have phone to call reception some do not( we had 2 rooms). We got wet floor after each shower as water leaking out, hair dryer working on and off due to faulty cord and exposed electrical wires, notified the risk to reception, they said would send technician next day which never happened . Our TV not working properly as we asked them to fix , said the TV technician is on his wedding,never fixed. Soap finished took half a day to refill. Cleaning service was ok but did not care about the signage at the door, when cleaning sign was off cleaning lady entering the room. Staff was not taking our requests seriously and very slow.

Very noisy hotel in the evening: impossible to sleep. All the rooms reek of tobacco: the staff does not mind smoking. Average breakfast: coffee machine always broken, mediocre juice, only 1 choice of bread, no pastries, little fruit. Soap holder in poorly secured showers: can be dangerous. Poorly cleaned rooms. Refrigerator that turns off when you remove the badge. In short: bad experience despite the good faith of the staff.

Not the best choose if you re in Istanbul. Firstly, we booked via Booking a room with three different beds but upon arrival we were transferred for the first night to another hotel right next to this one. the second night we were transferred back to Gritti but the room had one double bed and an armchair that could become a really uncomfortable bed. Secondly, although it was in a central point near taksim square it was a noisy area with loud music at nights. Thirdly, poor breakfast. To sum up, despite some attempts of the staff to help us, our stay there was not a pleasant one.

This is a very good place, with a good location. The stuff are very friendly and nice.Cosy place with very friendly stuff. There are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. The metro station is also nearby.

The hotel is very nice, small and cute. The staf are very kind and halpfull. And the best thing is location. You have one steps to the best bars, restaurants, shops, metro… We like thus place so much and for sure we will came back.
