Номера большие, шикарная терраса на крыши, с прекрасным видом на огромный , волнующе - таинственный Стамбул ! Босфор! Терраса , наверное, может компенсировать недостатки отеля!Подъем еще по винтовой лестнице) красиво) Сам отель в целом хороший, местоположение, номера, персонал отзывчивый, но отелю отчаянно не хватает генеральной уборки с косметическим ремонтом. У нас в номере отваливался душ))) А так - номера большие, у нас был номер люкс , со спальной зоной на антресоли. Красивый вид из окна.

Molto vicino alla Galata Tower, situato su traversa di ISTIKLAL CD nella zona Beyoğlu comodo per raggiungere qualsiasi punto. Camere molto da migliorare: complessivamente sembra carina ma senza interruttori sui comodino ne luce comodino, quindi ti devi alzare x spegnere la luce principale che è l’unica; il condizionatore non fredda, il bagno con porta trasparente e microscopico. Excellent location, very quiet rooms (given hustle & bustle of Istanbul), 4 mins to to Galata Tower, Galata waterfront & main street toward Takim Sq - lots of choice for restaurants. Easy to get to main sites - metro, buses and trams nearby. Rooms were clean and comfortable - my one feedback for improvement would be to improve appearance of common areas - kitchen , reception & terrace and maybe better toiletries? Staff extremely helpful and i would recommend for an affordable stay right in the centre of Istabul.

The location is just super and I'm afraid that's the only plus. There was a room on the ground floor with a “garden”. Therefore, I can only speak for my room—and it was very bad. the hotel is a bomb—but it is not looked after. Everything is in very poor condition, especially the bathroom. everything is held together by snot, and the style of the retro bricks, which, as I understand it, remained from previous buildings....look cool, but they are so old, dusty and moldy that my boyfriend and I developed allergies overnight, fortunately we were there just for a day. It's a pity! But it could have been a nice place! I wish this hotel a great renovation!

Due to a confusion during the reservation, the business offered to pay the difference of an alternative hotel or a hotel I could find. Later, they accepted my request for accommodation instead of the difference, but I wanted to pay the difference but they did not accept it.
The hotel is very authentic and clean.
The rooms are very nice, the staff consists of professionals who take their job seriously. It is a place to stay in terms of neighborhood hotel and price performance.
As a Gold member, I will happily stay again in the future.
They are more customer oriented than regional hotels.
There is a beautiful garden and terrace. You can have pleasant moments with board games.
Ceilings and tile wall patterns are perfect. A truly historical accommodation experience.

Mohammed was an excellent host who did his uppermost to assist us during our stay. Staff were polite and hospitable but English was a barrier. Thankfully google translate was a huge helping aid in assisting basic requests.
I highly appreciated the staff going out of their way to accommodate us for an early check in.
The room was an excellent size and well situated, however we did experience the following issues:
- insufficient and inconsistent housekeeping (total cleaning for a 7 night stay = x2, and once was on our request).
- loud neighbours from other rooms talking till 2am/3am.
- Water only provided when cleaning occurred.
- TV didn’t work.
- No hangers in the wardrobe.
- super economy loo roll that ran out very quickly and wasn’t replaced.
- Tea and coffee only replenished when cleaning occurred.
I think many of these issues connected to language barriers and irregular housekeeping.
Overall I would score Rooms Galata a 4/5 for friendly staff and location - and despite some of the challenges mentioned, I would stay again for these reasons.
