The place is well located, close to the amenities of Ortaköy. The person at reception speaks little English and even less French so we had to use Google translate, but it didn't matter because we had learned a little Turkish and I never expected the people speak our language. The room was good with a great shower, large balcony, comfortable beds but no sheets for the sofa bed. The kitchen looked good but the cupboards were bare - no cutlery, no plates or bowls, no pots for cooking, no knives, no corkscrew, nothing! Just a kettle with two tea bags and two small coffee cups but no coffee. Not even wine glasses. We asked for supplies and got a griddle, a very old scratched frying pan, two soup bowls, two forks, two spoons and a knife. We were hassled to pay every time we went to request equipment but the card machine (surprise, surprise) didn't work, and hadn't worked since 2020 (according to previous comments) so we offered to pay in Turkish lira. The guy at reception gave the statement (300 euros) converted into liras but when checking, it turned out to be 400 euros!! In the end we gave up asking for anything - we paid 300 euros and every now and then we asked the cleaning lady for rolls of toilet paper because after 5 days no one had bothered to ask if we needed clean towels or pq rolls. The day before we left we were asked if we wanted the room cleaned! The advert says kitchen utensils but there was nothing. Not even a broom/dustpan and a brush to clean the floor. It said iron and washing machine but there was nothing and the washing machine was a communal one somewhere downstairs - never found. For a few nights it was cold in the living room but the heater wasn't working - we were told there was air conditioning in the bedroom but when we used the remote to heat the place it was only cold air. So overall, good location and potentially, good apartment but we were super disappointed by the lack of everything that was supposed to be provided. When we got home, we actually received text messages from the gentleman at reception asking us to post favorable comments!!!
