Family-friendly Hotels in Istanbul

It is a very nice hotel. The Executive Lounge and the Rooftop Bar are on the highest Floor where you have a fantastic View of the Bosphorus and can enjoy delicious Food. Our Room was very large and very clean. When we arrived there was a Fruit Basket, different Variations of Chocolate and a Bottle of Wine served on our Table even though we don't drink Alcohol i found it very accommodating. The Breakfast is wonderful and there are many different flavors. The Coffee was unfortunately not good so I drank Çay. You can walk 10-15 Minutes and then you will pass various small Cafés, Supermarktes and Restaurants. I recommend this Hotel because it’s worth a Visit !

Two of my friends and I book an Istanbul suite, we add a sofa bed which is large and comfortable. The room is big with nice sea view, the bathroom is also large and fantastic. The staffs at both front desk and lounge are nice. We have many meals in the lounge since included in suite. However, the check in time is a little bit late (3pm).

-Room was not clean. -Shower head was broken, walls have issues. -There are lots of “ladies of night” -staff barged in to our room to empty the room because they “forgot” we booked more than 3 days -considerint so many cons. Very overpriced. +basic 3-4 star worth amenities. Not real 5 star hotel.

We had a very unpleasant experience with stuff at the lobby , being there for Christmas Eve , me & my sister decide to eat inside the hotel rather to go out so at 10 pm we came down to the lobby where there is lounge area , for almost 15 minutes we saw that the lounge staff is passing us without asking if we want to order so I called one of the waitress and she came toward us with furious gestures before I start asking she said to me do you have a room in the hotel and I said yes , she continues what’s your room number and I replied , again with the cold face and rude behavior she continues ‘ under the name ?’ And I replied, she turned back to her desk without asking us what we would like to order and From her desk she went straight to reception to verify my information!!! My jaws dropped when I saw this , really rude & unprofessional behavior I was in complete shock that she even went to reception to verify the information, but the worst part was that after she verified and actually saw that we are the guest of the hotel she turned back to her desk and continued ignoring us , I never ever seen in my entire life a waitress permits herself to act like this with 5 star hotel guests, at this point we asked another waitress that if she can took our order , we then asked her if the hotel have another restaurant and she replied yes but the kitchen is closed after 10:30 pm , I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to enjoy the hotel facility, the staff are not guest friendly, the dining section is in some floor but for person like me that wants more easy snacks and chill area wasn’t really good option, not to mention that when we came back to our room we really felt so heavy and frustrated by this behavior, we were supposed to go today to lounge before departing but as for yesterday experience we just decide to check out soon and leave the hotel because we didn’t like to tolerate the attitude of this waitress ( she is the short women with short brown hair ) I suggest the general manager to see the video of yesterday and review their staff!

The room is nice, the pool is nice. But the facilities are really average and old to be honest. The price is not worthy of this facility. The sea view is indeed OK, but the location is very bad. If you want to visit the old town, the round trip fee is 200+ RMB. In addition, there is no food nearby. The Michelin restaurant downstairs is expensive and not delicious. The only good thing is that the breakfast is 35 euros, and the self-service can be packed. In general, there is no need to stay here. In addition, a small episode occurred. When checking in, a deposit is required. The hotel swipes the card, but the hotel must insert a chip card, and then said that there is a problem with my card and it cannot be swiped. At that time, there was no cash, which delayed at least 2 hours. Later, I contacted the credit card customer service and they said it was completely normal. I went to the mall to try to swipe the card for consumption and it was normal. Then I told the front desk that the front desk swipe was successful. Otherwise, if you go out to exchange currency, the Hong Kong dollar exchange rate will be directly 2.85 (the credit card exchange rate is 4.1), which is basically half off. It is completely cheating and very unpleasant.

Very nice hotel, with friendly staff and guest centered focus. Rooms are average sized but comfortable. Noce large bathtub with nice toiletries. Bed was comfortable as was the sofa for relaxing. Main restaurant offered an excellent selection for breakfast, with indoor or outdoor seating. Jiggers bar / restaurant on the rooftop is good with a great selection, large potions and very helpful staff. Nice cocktails - just the thing to watch the sunset over the harbour. Outdoor or indoor seating. Ouzo restaurant is poor and caters mostly for locals. Very smoky atmosphere pervades the whole restaurant, and there is only an electronic menu. Staff not very enthusiastic or helpful. Stick to Jiggers, especially if you are a foreigner.

If I were to ask myself, I am a very picky person and I have very high requirements for hotels. This hotel is simply beyond my expectations. The entire decoration is in the local Islamic style and is very distinctive. The cleanliness is the best five-star hotel I have ever stayed in, and it pays great attention to details. Every towel is covered with a cotton protective bag, and even the paper towels used are printed with the hotel logo. The hotel's slippers are also very good, the bedding is also quite comfortable, and the shower gel is all luxury brands. It can be seen that the management of this hotel has very high requirements. Every employee of the hotel is sincere and enthusiastic in service, from the front desk, concierge, uncles who do cleaning, and especially those employees in the rooftop restaurant, they are simply meticulous. I have eaten all my breakfast and dinner there these days. Although a service fee of 12 euros per day is charged when checking out, I am very willing to do so because the service is so good. I highly recommend that you don't miss this hotel when you go to Istanbul. I strongly recommend it.

I remember every employee I came across with their name tags like a nail; My comments will continue with each stay as the previous one 🧐

It's the only hotel I always prefer. It makes you feel like you're at home. The breakfast, the design of the rooms, the ambience, everything is very nice. ✨
