The room was ok. The bathroom ceiling was very low and small shower. But the location is great by the water. Very expensive for what it was.

La Jolla is a perfect spot for us to go visit. The location was beautiful, relaxing, and the best sunsets spot in Islamorada. The staff were very responsive and accommodating in every level, loved the fact that we have our own paddle boarding and bicycles without any extra fees, made us feel right at home.

My wife and I stayed for three nights. What a beautiful place! 100% will visit again. We stayed in the cottage, which gave us super easy access to the water. Not that any part of the resort as far away from the water. There is a nice little pool with gas grill. Check-in staff was extremely friendly and informative. Very peaceful place to stay. I brought my own paddleboard, but they do have plenty of equipment there to use that is easily accessible right near the ramp to enter the water.

Love love love this cozy tropical place! They are super clean and you can dock your boat up to 25’! The employees are all extremely friendly, accommodating and professional. Love beautiful Felix the property cat too! She greets everyone when they come in. Don’t try to take her home! She belongs to La Jolla!

This place was great. Nice little hideaway with a small beach and water access with great views. Free kayaks for use. Beach area with lounge chairs and hammocks. Plenty of places to eat just minutes away. The rooms were very clean and updated. Very reasonable price and friendly staff. I plan on going back ASAP.

The kitchen had everything i needed. There was plenty of space for storing my belongings. I loved how the room was layed out with a small living room next to kitchen and separate sleeping area . Cozy. The room was clean, the bed had 2 pillows for each of us. We were SO comfy. Didn’t have that over chlorinated smell in the sheets. Good sized closet. Loved all of the freebies ,like the ability to use the paddle boards, bicycles, or kayaks on the premises. We even had a friendly cat greet us every morning. The grounds were super well kept with beautiful flowering trees. Beauty all around. Sunsets on the water were framed by beautiful palm trees. Great for photos. Did I mention the attentive staff? Well, they were wonderful. Every single last one. Oh! And the parking was perfect. A spot for each unit. Absolutely would return.

My wife went down and chose La Jolla based on the laid back vibration we felt based on some pics and yes other reviews. The entire staff was wonderful and Danielle who helped me book after I explained I had some physical limitations. She continued her excellent attention to all of our needs. We will be returning.

Had a great stay at this hideaway little gem. The sunset views were great, and the room was clean. The staff was very courteous. Close to stores and restaurants. We needed to check after hours and had no issues. We were celebrating our anniversary and we will be back.
