This resort is gorgeous, well maintained and Retta at the front desk is VERY accommodating. The rooms have incredible views and they are clean and pretty. Gorgeous granite floors in the room. Breakfast is simple, but welcomed in order to get out to the beautiful and clean pool quickly. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and fed treats to the cats!!

We had a house booked for the week but there was an issue for our last night and the owner (Fred) got us 3 rooms here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the super friendly cats, sunrise and pool. The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

I arrived about 9am so my room was not ready yet. ( I didn't expect it to be). The lady at the front desk was very nice and said I could use all the amenities onsite until my room was clean. When I got my room it was in the back building. I was very concerned when I saw the building. It looks very rough on the outside. Once inside I was very surprised. My room was very clean and has a great view of the ocean. The gym was very dirty and not maintained. Other than that I was very pleased with the entire property. I would definitely recommend.

The owner/manager is a LOSER. Run very unprofessionally and the management are bonafide losers. The person who runs their email legitimately cant read or write or speak a comprehensive sentence. Also they have tempers and cant speak with people on a coherent level. AVOID

Although they say Hotel and Marina this place does not cater to guest bringing boats at all! It is the keys after all… I generally do not leave bad reviews but our latest vacation in the keys was just about ruined by the experience me and my fiancé had at this hotel. We called a week in advance of our stay to ask about the site and if we were able to bring a boat. The female receptionist I spoke to said absolutely and then said if I planned on using their marina (which is a shallow unusable boat ramp and sketchy unstable dock) that I would be charged a $45 daily fee. I said that we were not going to keep the boat in the water and just needed parking for the boat and trailer. She said we would not be charged and it would be included in our initial charge for the room. We ended up getting charged an additional 190$ for our stay for using their marina… we will be disputing this charge. To make matters worse they have a policy that is not listed anywhere on any of their websites that they do not allow you to rinse off your boat or flush your engine anywhere on the property. This is basic maintenance for boat owners and a necessity if bringing a boat for multiple days in a saltwater environment! The solution from them is find a car wash which to be transparent there is no self service car washes with a spigot to wash your boat within 50 miles I checked… The first day an employee told me about the policy I was visibly upset and said I never would have booked this place if I knew that as I am not going to let my boat engine fishing rods and trailer rust away from saltwater corrosion. He let me wash my boat and flush my engine that day. The second day I come back from a day of fishing and go to flush my engine about 20 seconds after starting my engine the owner starts screaming at the top of his lungs from the balcony of his place telling me to shut it off and stop what I am doing. We got into an argument and he screamed at me “ to have some decency” among other things that are not appropriate. It was like I was vandalizing the property or doing something malicious. It has been a very long time since I was disrespected like this by anyone. To the owner you should have come down and spoke to me face to face like a man and offered some sort of viable solution instead you hid on the top floor and yelled like a insecure little boy in front of the entire property. Update your website and make it known you will not tolerate washing boats or flushing the engine. You also need to make sure your entire staff knows all of your ridiculous policies and rules before answering the phone. Now on to the room I should have gotten a credit from having to become a pest control technician as I killed half a dozen large cockroaches before I ever put any of our stuff in your disgusting room. There was food caked on all of the dishes. The room smelled strong of mildew and mold. There was drywall peeled back on the walls. The pictures are very deceiving, Absolutely the worst po

I wanted to be able to leave a good review for this place, because my first impression was very favorable. However, I am very dissatisfied with how things ended... My family and I were in town for a wedding, and the place we had booked have away our room for that night. We desperately wanted to stay with the rest of our family at the wedding venue, but they were completely booked. So, we reached out to Coconut Cove and we were able to get a room within about half an hour after calling. The room seemed satisfactory, but later that evening we found a strange worm-like creature in the bathroom and then a large (and very sharp) screw in one of the beds, under the covers. 😬 We expressed concerns, but felt we had no other options because every other resort was booked. That night none of us were able to sleep, the window AC unit would not turn off, and we all ended up with bug bites on our legs and ankles. We wanted to talk to the manager the next morning, but Retta was nowhere to be found, and Bernadine (while polite and courteous) wasn't able to help. We checked out immediately and found another place to stay for the remainder of our trip. Bernadine told us that Retta would reach out to discuss a refund, but Retta never called. So, 2 days later we called in the morning and Bernadine insisted that Retta would call us back within a few hours. That evening we called again, and Bernadine said that 1) Retta was "no longer in the office", 2) Refunds are no longer available after a certain number of days, 3) Retta "manages a lot of properties, and 4) Retta would call us the next day. But the next day Retta didn't call... So, I called again, except this time Retta answered, and she was terse and rude. 😐 She offered no apology or remorse regarding our unpleasant stay, and repeatedly said, "there's no refunds for early departures". So, long story short, I paid over $650 to stay ONE NIGHT, none of my family was able to get any sleep, and we were treated with disrespect when we tried to get a refund. We will never visit this resort again!

Read all of the negative reviews before you book The standard response for negative reviews " we have no record of you staying here ". Well, I did stay there. It was horrible. Great location. Beautiful view and facility. FILTHY ROOMS. GROSS. FILTHY bedding. Stay somewhere else. You get what you pay for. The people next door had se# half the night....loud. sleep for me ? Nope. She was a screamer They had se# at least three times. Loud. Glad he was fast about it. The pillows smelled like cat urine , sweat and body odor. The pillow cases hadn't been changed in GOD KNOWS HOW LONG, were covered in makeup, sweat and other body fluids. I didn't bother using the shower. The air conditioning removed zero humidity from the air. We were wet and cold.....or wet and hot. There was no in-between. The padded toilet seat was nice touch. Lolol I slept with my clothes on.....even my socks. And I hate cats. Cat foot prints in my car. Cat hair in the halls. WHY do you allow cats to run wild ?? Gross.
