Hadley Resort and Marina

Where to start? We had a 2 bed sea view apartment. The view was lovely, except that the building it's in resembles a 1960s multi storey car park complete with huge concrete pillars which kind of spoils the view a bit. The apartment itself was a great size but filthy. Unhygienic filthy. The inside of the cupboards were sticky, as was the table in the lounge. All the utensils / plates had a layer of greasy stuff on them. I say 'all' the utensils, we had 1 spoon, a few forks and knives but very little else. No wine glasses. Fortunately they provided individually wrapped cups for coffee so we didn't need to use the mugs. The worst bit was the beds. The sofa bed was stained and my poor husband was covered in flea bites (see photos). We got bitten by the usual bugs which is to be expected in the keys but these were different and definitely fleas. In the main bedroom the drawers still had mucky tissues from the last guest. The bed again felt grubby. There was no housekeeping at all the whole time we were there. Apparently you need to book it 24 hrs in advance if you want your room cleaned / bins emptied?! We didn't say anything at checkout as we weren't asked how our stay was. We would have said something but having read former reviews it really doesn't seem worth it - these issues seem to have been raised by loads of guests before. Please, if you're going to charge the prices you are doing you need to reinvest money into the apartments. New beds, new sofas, a lick of paint and regular cleaning would do wonders. Avoid unless you enjoy being bitten by fleas!!

Don’t be fooled by the photos or the nice street front. The property smelled like sewer. The floors looked like they haven’t been cleaned. The property looked like spring break went bad. Multi-colored painted concrete trying to be some shade of gray and peeling.

This hotel was located walking distance from shops, local restaurants, and brewery! Free bicycle rentals, which are fun to ride along "Old Highway" at your leisure. The king size bed balcony room was WONDERFUL! Loved sitting our there every evening and enjoying the ocean view! Bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and spacious! You have a Keurig coffee maker, microwave and large refrigerator! The pool was clean and lots of chairs available! Lobby provided a nice continental breakfast, as well as, a nice outdoor sitting area for breakfast! They provided flyers and brochures on places to visit while you're in Islamorada. You can sign out pool towels in the mail lobby too! Front desk staff was very welcoming, informative and friendly! If you do not want to drive, you can walk to the Islamorada Brewery just down the street. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit!!!

Great hotel, customer service is great. Spacious and clean. The manager Thomas gave us a bunch if recommendations for places to see and restaurants. We would definitely come here again. Great view and cute pool! Well decorated and loved the bikes and kayaks being included

Rooms never cleaned. Hwy noise was very loud.
