Nice hotel rooms that you can drive up to. Nice amount of space—although the bathroom is very small. Pool area is ok, not enough umbrellas. Didn’t get water everyday despite being told it was included with the resort fee. The access to the sea isn’t great. Yoga was fantastic.

You can definitely tell they've spent time and money on renovations of the rooms and grounds. Thoughtfully designed for tropical ambiance. As for the poolside cabana room it was well appointed with teak and cypress furniture. The bedding and pillows were ok, not Marriott but good none the less. Spacious and clean with a great comfortable layout. The front desk staff were excellent and attentive. Food was above average but expensive. You can find local restaurants that have a better value. The drinks were expensive as well. CONS- as nice as the pool side cabana rooms were.. there was never a moment of quiet relaxation on our patio or cabana. The music was playing loud for 10 hours a day..... even as I write this at 8pm. NO ONE is in the pool. Hence we couldn't use the cabana or patio for what it was intended during the day or the evening to enjoy the sunset.Shame. We could find quiet areas out by the ocean away from the pool area. I should mention the rooms NOT in the.pool area are super quiet. Overall it is a beautiful resort with amazing landscaping and best ocean views you can imagine. We will return in a few months but stay in a different room.

What a lovely resort. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The rooms were very detail oriented with smazing decoration and storage. Every detail was perfect. They upgraded us to an oceanview which is closer to the pool bar and restaurant. Kelly at the bar was so fun and she made the best drinks. K. at the front desk was super helpful and kind. The location is amazing and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Would recommend highly.

Terrific location. Beautiful resort. But definitely overpriced based on the lacking service. Ocean view suites are great. Pools are fun. Drift restaurant is great. There are some service bright spots but I think they suffer from a lack of quality employees. Sarah at front desk along with some others, servers at drift, bartenders and bar managers were all great. $50 per day per person fee for kayaks etc is ridiculous. Should be complimentary. For the price, id expect better service but they just need a few “tweeks” to reach top notch. We all agreed we would return, but just know you’ll be dropping big $. Best place to stay in Islamorada. Local, Square grouper restaurant is not to be missed. Captain Riley backcountry fishing was superb.

We stayed at the resort for the first week of our vacation. I loved everything about the resort and we are already planning our return visit! The next time we will be spending the full two weeks at the resort and not going into Key West. Please don’t change anything!

The Ialander Resort is absolutely spectacular. Newly renovated the rooms and the grounds are breathtaking. You will not believe how amazing and happy you will be once you get here. Great restaurants, beach, pools, fitness, kayaking, biking etc. WILL COME BACK

Hands down the BEST place to stay in Islamorada! This resort has it all! The rooms are so clean & cozy not to mention spacious. The private patio oasis was a real treat to enjoy. Sarah went above & beyond to make our stay next level. Can’t wait to get back!

If you stay here, ask for an 'older' room. The new ones have a small shower and the sink is located in the middle of the room hallway - outside of the bathroom. We asked to move to a room with a bigger bathroom, but they either could not or would not accommodate us. Make sure the room is clean. Our floors and furniture were dirty. The staff were very friendly but not helpful. We finally found the coffee bar at the pool on our 2nd day. The Lorelei Bar and Grill across the street was very good last year. This year, they raised their prices a lot and the food quality went downhill. The location is good which is close to many restaurants and shopping centers, We will be staying at another resort next year.
