The hotel has a good location, very close to the attraction Faisal Mosque, and there is a famous shopping mall Centaur nearby (Picture 1). Of course I had to take a shower immediately after returning to the hotel. The room was fully equipped with disposable items. The bedding has been tested with UV light and is quite clean. Definitely replace it often. The toiletries are all branded, not random brands, and they are quite good. Remarkable Point 4: The ticket the boss gave me was much higher than the ticket at our airport. UnionPay cards cannot be used here. Saved us a lot of time and money. Point 5: The journey from the airport to the hotel felt very chaotic. It was not until I arrived at this hotel that I felt particularly safe and at ease. The hotel service is very good and the price is very good. When I stayed at the hotel, it happened to be my birthday. The hotel specially prepared a birthday cake. If I hadn’t seen the surprise given by the hotel, I would have forgotten that it was my birthday. I was very touched, especially for us who have been traveling abroad for a long time. The rooftop buffet is to die for. Steak, barbecue, scrumptious deserts and excellent curry and salad choices. The housekeeping staff is exceptional helpful and attentive. The executive lounge has free high tea for executive suites which has sandwiches and fruit chaat that are delicious and cardamom tea and lattes served for free all day.

I stayed here for about a week with a colleague. We were on an official trip and needed a secure plus good-service place. Services: I must appreciate the staff for their great service and hospitality. The breakfast had good variety. The breakfast coffee isn’t good but the one you pay for is creamy and frothy. You can either ask for ironing service or can just ask for iron board and do it yourself. Location: The nearest market is Kohsar which is 10 mins walk away. But the plus point of this location is a very close-by walking track and that it’s very close to all major hotels and business centres. For business stays, it’s perfect. Ambience: Now coming to negative points: the guesthouse is in serious need of renovation. The sheets were old and paled. The bathroom tiles were fading. Room view: The second negative point is room view. If you’re someone who care for room views like me, you’d be disappointed.

The Hotel is Majestic, the traditional ambience and the design was very welcoming. Our room was clean and comfy with complimentary drinks like soft drinks. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of local dishes. Overall, we were glad to have booked Serena Hotel for our first time in Islamabad.

First time ever I was totally impressed with the level of service received which changed my perception not only about the country , moreover about the city itself. I’ll definitely come back to Islamabad and when I do, I’ll only stay at the Marriott Hotel as everyone there will make you feel at home
