Location , location , location , it’s the only good thing about the hotel , services are so limited that it’s better to forget about it when booking this hotel the hotel is very very basic , not very clean , not luxurious , it’s very good for young people that are very flexible with comfort , higiene , and that want to spend all day at the beach , don’t rent golf kart with them there are better options all over the town , rooms and hotel don’t have WiFi , there is only one area with free WiFi by the pool , also don’t expect a full breakfast it’s just coffee and bread on a restaurant across the street , we didn’t see any bugs on the room or in the hotel .

Location is perfect, and the room is clean. Period of this is what you are looking it’s great. Customer service does not
Exist in this place. The staff was rude and they ask for a deposit which is really odd.

El hotel es pequeño y silencioso, la alberca caliente y con camas rechinantes, buena atención de la camarista y récepcion, pero piden deposito de $3000 por habitación me parece una exageración. Tienen acceso a la playa pero no tienen sombrillas ni camastros, hay que rentarlos. No hay botella de agua en la habitación ni cafetera, en si lo elegimos porque está más cerca de playa norte, pero rocamar es mucho mejor.

We spent a weekend at Hotel Maria Del Mar for our anniversary. We enjoyed the location and proximity to restaurants, bars, & shopping. We walked to Hidalgo street both nights, so much fun! We spent 2 days soaking up the sunshine on Playa Norte. We rented a chair at Tarzan beach club. While there we has drinks, I recieved a great massage from a lady named Patricia, & spend alot of time relaxing. We stayed in room 22. It was comfortable. It is nothing fancy, but met our needs. There was a refrigerator in the room. Air conditioning was good and cold. We never tried the tv. The beach is literally steps out your door. The gardens are gorgeous. Very low key, relaxed vibe. Pros-great location, on beach, pool, beautiful gardens & foliage, convenience store across street, golf cart rental onsite. Cons-doesn’t provide beach chairs, facilities dated & a little run down, no onsite dining/bar.

We love staying at this affordable and close to downtown hotel. Buho is right by the beach and has a wonderful view and breakfast.

Great location
Not a 5 star. But the rooms are nice enough with cold ac. The Hotel has walking access (literally thru a few palm trees) to North beach. Which is why I assume you are visiting Isla. Cant beat the location. Up against the beach and walking distance to restaurants.
