Beloved Playa Mujeres - Couples Only All Inclusive

Great place to unwind and enjoy some R$R. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Food was yummy and dining areas kept very clean :)

We just returned from another fabulous week of relaxation at the Beloved Playa Mujeres Resort. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Big Ben, who made us feel welcome from the start and Fabiola and Fernanda took over from there getting us checked in. We were then taken to our room by Cristian, and he gave us the quick tour They really set the stage for a relaxing vacation. We visited the Lobby Bar a couple of times, and Norberto was always there with a smile and a greeting. At the Spa, Adela went through all of the options and was open to listening to what areas we wanted to concentrate on, and she made her recommendation. We loved the Hydrotherapy session and massage, and Regina, Nahomi and Alicia had us feeling so relaxed at the end. We spent most of our time at the pool), but we did spend 2 days at the beach. The Beach Conceirges were wonderful as was the beach and poolside service! CAFFETO: Every morning was started off with coffee where we met Christina and Benito. They make the best Frapes and Lattes. LUPITA: I save the best restaurant for last. Citlali and Barbara were always smiling and happy. We ended up having dinner at Lupita 3 nights while we were there. The first night we were waited on by Angel. The restaurant was kind of slow at the time, so we were able to have a little conversation with him. He really shows that he loves his job, and is there to make sure each guest is taken care of. We both had the ribeye, which was definitely worthwhile! We went back on Mexican Night and really enjoyed the special menu that night. And again, we were waited on by Angel. The third night we went back, Barbara made sure to seat us in Angel’s section again, and he made another evening excellent. That night, we were also treated to a special dish. On the 3rd night, we were surprised when Barbara told us that we would be getting something special with our appetizer and salad…the BEST Poblano Soup!! FRONT OFFICE: There is one other person that we happened to run into one day, and unbeknownst to us at the time, it was the Guest Services Manager, Alexander Medina. We had a very nice conversation with him regarding our past trips, our “platinum” status, and the other resorts we’ve been to. We also missed the Pool Concierge (in the room behind Caffeto), and the Pool Bar. It was nice having the pool bar (next to the chess/billiards area), where we could just walk over there. Hopefully those things come back in the near future!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! What an amazing experience my girlfriend and I had, the staff there made this such a great time! The food at every restaurant were excellent, the steaks were cooked to perfection. It’s a must to go to El Mar for a sunset dinner! Overall we were very pleased with our stay, and look forward to coming back soon.

My Husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Beloved. It is in a gated location of playa muejeres. We feel very safe and secured. The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The food is top notch and you have a lot of options. Lastly, the staff were truly amazing! They were friendly and provided us the best service.

We’ve only been here a few hours, celebrating our 20th anniversaries with friends — a big milestone, so we decided to splurge on “swim-up” rooms. Unfortunately, our swim-up experience currently involves more sand and shrubbery than water outside our door. To make matters worse, both couples called months ago to request rooms together and were reassured it wouldn’t be a problem… yet we’re not even in the same building. The most disappointing part? The staff’s attitude has been less than enthusiastic about helping. Hoping things turn around so we can update this review with a few extra stars, but as of now… it’s been more “swim-away” than swim-up.

If you’re thinking about booking with the Beloved, do it! We have been to countless other resorts, and this one is better than all of them. The beach was perfect, the waitstaff is attentive, and the food was seriously so much better than the anything else we’ve had at the other resorts.
