El lugar es un paraíso, la playa, el hotel tal cual las fotos y mas, super cuidado todo, desde el baño común hasta las sábanas, todo genial, las noches iluminadas, elegantes, la música del bar se complementa con cada espacio irreal del lugar. La comida típica, desayunos, etc, para estar tan alejado de la ciudad el encanto es realmente bien cuidado a detalle. Es una isla así q siempre se veras plantitas en el mar, es el hanitad natural

El entorno natural, la tranquilidad y el servicio de primer nivel hicieron de nuestra luna de miel una experiencia mágica. Cada detalle fue cuidado con esmero, desde la bienvenida hasta la despedida. The resort is absolutely beautiful with lovely staff and the food is delicious-I recommend ordering the fish dishes and the ceviche! Erlin was so smiley and nice. It takes a boat ride from Cartagena or Barú to get there but the hotel is so helpful in arranging the transport as well if needed. We couldn’t travel at the standard times and Raquel found us other options that suited our schedule. I also needed to change the plan last minute and it was absolutely no problem. Note you will get wet on the speed boat. The beach on the resort is quite nice and there is the option to borrow kayaks and/or paddle boards. We did both as well as snorkeling. Surprisingly a lot of fish to see close to the hotel even.

We visited Isla del Sol on a day pass with family, and although we’ve been there many times before and always enjoyed it, this visit was extremely disappointing. The beach was in terrible condition—full of dead coral pieces, seaweed, and unclean sand. It used to be beautiful, but this time it looked neglected and uninviting. The entire place felt run-down, especially the pool area. The beds around the pool used to have pergolas, which gave it a nice, relaxing atmosphere, but now it looks like a storm hit and no one bothered to fix anything. It honestly felt like the place is either under poor management or no management at all. This is not the Isla del Sol we used to know and love. Very, very disappointed, and sadly, we won’t be returning unless major improvements are made.

Great place to stay for a few nights when traveling through Colombia. Great beach and staff. Erling was an excellent host!
