Excellent Service and great Food. It’s very clean place and the staff is so friendly. We come again and we highly recommend the Strandhotel. The beautiful setting on the lake with the fantastic mountains panorama in front. If you want a relaxed day. Take the boat from Interlaken to Iseltwald. See you soon thanks to everyone!

The staff was very rude and the breakfast was not good. Infact they wre telling that the breakfast was over. The senior lady staff was pathetic and super rude. She bluntly told that we have no more croissant I was having no words to that. Pathetic

We arrived in the late afternoon to be welcomed by Nicole who spoke excellent English. She informed us that a group had booked the rest of the rooms in the hotel and that we were being given a free upgrade to a comfort room. The room was on the corner of the hotel overlooking the pier where the ferry landed. There were no less than 5 windows in the room. Patio doors gave access to a large balcony with chairs, loungers and a table. The bathroom had a spacious shower. We had booked half board and the food was very good and varied, all the waiters were helpful. Breakfast was good but if you wanted either a fried egg or scrambled eggs there was an extra charge. Switzerland is expensive but with the free upgrade and the food we thought it was worth it. It was interesting to see many Korean people having their photographs taken on a pier where you had to pay 5 SF to get on it. Apparently a scene from Crash landing on you was set here.

Struttura tipica e incantevole direttamente sul lago. Un ringraziamento particolare per la camera, sembrava di essere su una nave da crociera. Il bagno largo e spazioso. Il letto comodissimo per non parlare dei cuscini… una favola. La famiglia che la gestisce trasmette la sua passione per il suo lavoro. Grazie dell’accoglienza

die Lage ist einmalig netter Empfang sehr gutes Essen und reichhaltiges Frühstück bei schönem Wetter auf derTerasse alle Zimmer und Bäder renoviert die Inhaber des Hotels haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, denn das Haus an sich ist ja doch schon sehr alt wir kommen wieder !!!

Wir erlebten den Aufenthalt im Hotel Strand als sehr positives Erlebnis. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Service kompetent und speditiv. Das Essen war schmackhaft zubereitet und schmeckte gut. Die Auswahl an Speisen war interessant und das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und fein.

So this is not about our stay. I was looking to book the room and i found one room on Hotel website available. But then i found one tripadvisor review where someone mentioned how their booking got cancelled by the hotel. So to double check I called the hotel. Lady over the phone was extremely rude. I asked availability she said we are fully booked and then i asked how your website is showing room available. her answer was "If i m saying we r booked then we r booked." she cut the phone down.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön. Die Lage ist einfach herrlich, wir haben viele Wanderungen direkt vom Hotel aus gemacht. Am See entlang in beide Richtungen, auch das man mit der Gästekarte umsonst mit dem Postbus fahren kann, tolle Sache. Die Zimmer sind ok, leider mit Teppichboden aber dafür hatten wir ein sehr schönes Bad. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte vieles , doch leider nichts für Laktoseintoleranze Leute. Fand ich sehr sehr schade, das man Glutenfreie Brötchen vorbestellen kann aber nicht mal Laktosefreie Milch oder Joghurt anbietet. Am 1 Tag haben wir gefragt und man war dann nicht gewillt für die nächsten 3 Tage zu sorgen das es da ist, schade!
