Room #600 I arrived at the Delta Hotel on the evening of Friday, October 27th, with a reservation extending until Wednesday, November 1, 2023. On Saturday morning, while getting ready to leave for work, I encountered a problem with the bathtub - it became clogged and started to overflow. I took immediate action to contain the water within the bathroom and promptly reported the issue to the front desk at 6:45 a.m. as I left for the day. Around 6:30 p.m. the same day, I called the front desk to inquire about the status of the problem, and they informed me they would check on it. Upon my return at 7:00 p.m., I asked again if the issue had been resolved and was told that it had been. However, upon entering my room, I noticed that the bathroom still had towels on the floor, and it appeared that the tub had only recently been unclogged. Once more, as I left the hotel around 7:15 p.m. to go to dinner, I requested the lobby staff to clean the bathroom and provide fresh towels. They assured me that the matter would be addressed by the time I returned. Two hours later, upon my return, I had a drink in the lobby and then proceeded to my room. Unfortunately, the bathroom remained untouched, and I had not received new towels. Frustrated at this point, I returned to the lobby and informed them that the bathroom had not been cleaned. I asked if they could at least provide me with fresh towels. One of the staff members gave me the towels, and I went back to my room feeling quite discouraged. The following morning, as I started the shower, the issue recurred, and I found myself increasingly frustrated. It was at this juncture that I made the decision to check out. During the checkout process, I explained to the staff that the ongoing issue with the bathroom was the primary reason for my decision to leave the hotel prematurely. I want to add that, given this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to others. Furthermore, I have notified my company regarding this particular location as Marriott is our preferred vendor, and this location did not meet our expectations or standards.
