Delta Hotels Woodbridge

The lobby looks good but the hotel is getting old and tired. The room was clean and quiet, everything worked properly but signs of wear and tear everywhere especially in the bathroom. Very strange system of dispensing breakfast, only 3 items allowed. They have a swimming pool but we didn't use it. Nice front desk staff. Ample parking.

Not what it used to be. This is a preferred hotel for my place of employment so I’ve been going there for years and it’s getting worse and worse each time I go. Just walking into the building the sidewalks and parking lot is filled with craters and someone had thrown watermelon rinds right in front of the entrance which sat there for days. I had a room on the first floor the second I entered the hallway it smelled like ****. My mobile key did not work for the duration of my stay which was annoying but not the end of the world. The pool was located right outside my room which is fine but the window shade was broken and didn’t go down fully so there was a lack of privacy. One of the pillows had obvious makeup on it from a prior stay. Towels were stained with makeup and mold. Shower was moldy. When I went to change the tv station the remote was nowhere to be found. I eventually found it under furniture. My colleague a few rooms away had a cockroach in her bed and another the mini fridge was completely missing from the room. We had all asked for our rooms to be serviced during our stay and when we returned at 6pm the rooms had not yet been cleaned. At that point we were tired after full days of conferences and just wanted to eat dinner and sleep so we didn’t get any room cleaning service at all in the 2 nights of staying. App wouldn’t allow me to check out so I went to the front desk and whoever was running it that morning was obviously overwhelmed with the line of customers and trying to deal with something over his walkie just not the Marriott service you are used to… also they advertise a shuttle but it is rarely available anymore.

The phone line was not working for fee days. They could have done better in handling this issue in their hotel. They could have put a message on their website so people who are trying to reach them have a warning. As a frequent Marriott customer, i just felt that this says alot of things on their service. I reached out to Marriott Customer Sevice and 1 customer service rep didnt even investigate and explained the exact issue why my calls were not andwered for 2 days of trying to contact them. Delta Marriott can do better and improve their service and notifications when any issue arises in the future.
