Location was decent - about 8-9 min walk from JR Iseshi station. Hotel lounge area was super. Just refurbished/looks modern and trendy, with a 24/7 coffee and tea bar. Room itself - clean-ish, felt alright, but I get what other reviewers mean when they say it is old. The rooms are clean, very basic but not modern. Wallpaper slightly peeling but they are trying their best to keep up appearances. Bathroom was clean. Reception lady was really earnest and nice. Overall, for the price paid in this area, I have no complaints and would stay again unless I find something better at same value.

Having come to Ise to visit Ise Shrine, while I had to work online, I needed a good internet access and selected this hotel. The building is new and super clean overall. It should have been perfect if the internet access was good, though the location is a bit away from Ise Shrine and the Ise stations. Two reasons why I give just three stars. 1. The most important thing - Internet access! Terrible. Wifi keeps falling, and I need to reset the Wifi on mobile and the laptop. VPN is no way. Zoom didn't work, either. Just pathetic. With the third call with the front desk, I got a router, which never had a Wifi signal and was useless. I ended up bringing out my Rakuten pocket router, and it was able to make my day, whew!  I'm sure the hotel staff would help till I get the comfortable internet access.
