Premetto che sono stata ad ischia tante volte..in diversi hotel 4 stelle Da tempo desideravo fare un weekend lungo con il mio compagno e le nostre mamme ottantenni e soggiornare in questo hotel.. data la posizione in pieno centro. Non ci è stato possibile trascorre molto tempo in hotel .le mie aspettative sono state deluse 1. Piscine con acqua appena tiepida ..pertanto abbiamo fatto un solo bagno molto veloce. . La piscina interna piccola..senza lettini per rilassarsi ..quella esterna con tanta vegetazione ma rimaneva piuttosto buia..forse bella in piena estate.. 2. Hall essenziale con divanetti e tavolinetti... 3.il bar era al piano inferiore..in realtà un piccolo bancone su un corridoio vicino il ristorante...e le ascensori Nn un posto dove potersi rilassare a degustare qualcosa 4.ristorante: si poteva scegliere tra diverse portate..ma la qualità nn era il max..meglio sicuramente la colazione 5.stanze..le 2 al piano terra con bagni piccolissimi , e balcone in comune con le altre camere...c erano della piante come separé La nostra al primo piano...aveva un balconcino con un muro alto pertanto nn si vedeva cosa c era fuori Insomma...da un quattro stelle ci saremmo aspettati molto di più...pertanto abbiamo trascorso in hotel il tempo minimo necessario e cercato lo svago al di fuori..fortunatamente avevamo la macchina! Sinceramente nn ci tornerei..allo stessi prezzo ci sono strutture di livello molto molto più alto..dove potersi rilassare e divertire !

Love the Hotel Floridiana. Have stayed here at least three times. The decor is cool and refreshing. The large swimming people is wonderful, temperature comfortable to stay in for hours. Located on the Main Street, near restaurants and shops.

Front desk reception Adolfo (may have spelling wrong) was kind, knowledgeable, and able to speak English. Our room was clean, terrace was a wonderful bonus, and quiet during the night. We had the breakfast buffet which was great. Close to the ferry, bus, and plenty of shops. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the Ischia Porto ferries. Perfect location on the main street, amid the shops and restaurants. Set back from the street, so quiet. Room was a bit "tired" but spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The clientele are almost all Italian, many elderly, but this means that the hotel and grounds are quiet! There are rules for the main pool - no diving, wear a swimming cap - but there is no loutish behaviour and you can have a relaxed swim. The choice and quality of the breakfast buffet is AMAZING and the staff are on hand to supply endless coffees. There's usually a scrum at a hotel breakfast buffet but nothing like that here. Plenty of room for everyone, plenty of tables, no queuing, I'd go back for that experience alone!

Staff demanded we pay cash for certain items during our stay. This is an issue all over Italy with taxi drivers and businesses demanding cash and then overcharging. This hotel was no exception. Nonsense. FYI: it's against the law in Italy to do this. All businesses must accept credit cards for everytjing, including taxi drivers. They're crooks otherwise. We had to wear shower caps in the pool as though out of a 60s film. Refused to give tap water at dinner and charged 4 euro for a bottle of water. Hotel was a maze with hidden spots for the lift. Elderly population visits the hotel which was probably the best part for me as they were quiet and kind; however, this isnt a hotel for all age groups. Tiny TV with local channels only. No toiletries in the room. I was bitten alive from bugs and mosquitoes in my room. Dining staff and cleaning staff were excellent, and the hotel is centrally located about half a mile from the port and the only reasons I give this any stars.

Ho soggiornato per tre notti presso questa struttura. Il nostro balconcino non era separato dagli altri, cosa non comoda dal momento che abbiamo portato con noi il nostro cagnolino (10€ al giorno in più e ovviamente segnalato per tempo). Siamo stati in questa struttura principalmente per le terme: l’acqua era fredda. Andiamo spesso alle terme e nella stessa Ischia porto abbiamo soggiornato in altri hotel in cui l’acqua termale era notevolmente più calda . Abbiamo chiesto più e più volte di aumentare la temperatura, ma niente. Dunque, albergo sconsigliato se volete andare alle terme. Inoltre, il bagno aveva una architettura PENOSA: lo spazio tra i sanitari e la doccia era MINIMO, non ci si poteva muovere. Per persone giovani va anche bene, ma per persone anziane (come la maggior parte degli ospiti che ho visto) può essere davvero di impedimento. L’aria condizionata della nostra camera non funzionava: abbiamo chiesto di aggiustarla, ma nessuno è venuto per aiutarci. Da un hotel a 4 stelle ci si aspetta di più. Nota positiva, il personale molto gentile, specialmente i ragazzi del ristorante.
