The staff is very friendly, owner himself runs the business and since he lives in the same building, all possible issues will be solved fast! The location of Hotel Garni Ida is very good- it locates at the edge of the village away from the crowds and jet just 10 minutes on foot from the Ski lifts. Rooms in the hotel are spacious and well equipped. Hotel possess ski lockers at the Fimba lift ski depo, so there is no need to carry your gear every day back to the hotel. If you choose to have the breakfast at hotel, then you will be not disappointed- breakfast has wide and fresh selection of food. Hotel also has surprisingly good sauna facilities, which are free for hotel quests. Hotel Garni Ida- highly recommended!

Nous venons depuis des années dans cet hôtel. Très bon accueil, très belles chambres et l'hôtel est situé à seulement 10mn a pied des remontées mécaniques (et possède des casiers pour les affaires de ski au pied des pistes), tout en étant situé au calme par rapport au tumulte du centre.

When he arrived the owner was very nice and welcoming and the hotel itself on the outside is straightforward and typical of many Austrian resorts. Inside it is covered in pictures of the owners rock climbing adventures in South America and Nepal and we had a very nice 3 room apartment complex to ourselves. There was plenty of room and quite a large living area alongside the bedrooms and excellent bathrooms. It's only about eight minutes from the ski lift, but since the owner has reserved lockers at the lift itself you don't even have to carry your equipment. Excellent breakfast, flexible times and great access to the nightlife too. I definitely stay there again as it was gratefully for money and really well located.
