Staybridge Suites Irvine - John Wayne Airport, an IHG Hotel

There is an induction cooker, but the power is very low. The room is very small, and there is no space after pulling out the sofa bed. The service is good, warm and friendly. There are office buildings around, and it is very close to the business district. But you still have to drive, and there are almost no people on the road.

The most common room type. It has kitchen facilities. All dishes and pots are available. You can heat up some food. It's very convenient. There is also breakfast. The layout downstairs is like a restaurant. It's OK. The location is a bit remote. But it may be because of the remote location, so parking here is OK. No barriers have been installed.

The suite I stayed in had an expandable sofa. There was a kitchen where I could make simple meals. The bedding was nice and clean. There were supermarkets nearby. The hotel had a simple breakfast.

This hotel is generally quite good, but there is a particularly bad problem. They installed the air conditioning compressor in the bedroom (the compressor is in the grille with the red circle in the picture), and it is very old equipment. The cooling effect is very general (it is not very cool even when it is turned to the lowest temperature, and the room temperature is still quite high). It makes a huge noise all the time~ It is really huge... It is like a large old machine constantly rumbling in my ears, and it made both of us collapse in the middle of the night (I don’t sleep very well, and my husband sleeps very well, and we can’t stand it...) We originally booked 17 nights, but after staying for a few days, we couldn’t stand the torture and changed to another hotel nearby. The hotel’s own engineers and front desk staff admitted that this design is really weird... We originally wanted to compromise and change rooms to see if it would be better, but they all had the same structural design, and the compressor was not that exaggeratedly noisy. The infrastructure of this hotel feels too old (it’s also amazing that it is a hotel that has been open for 4 years), including the water flow is often very small, and it’s not very good to take a shower during peak hours... So the old compressor is installed in the bedroom again, which is simply, I have never seen it before...

The room is clean and hygienic, with all kitchen utensils, dishes and chopsticks. It is equipped with a laundry room (paid). It is the first choice for business trips and economical travel.

The room is quite good. There is a sofa bed in the living room, which is just right for two kids. The air conditioner is a bit loud. The kitchenette is very practical and can cook simple meals. It's a pity that there is no rice cooker. The breakfast is simple and there is nothing to eat. It is good value for money in Irvine.
