The Shakespeare is a beautiful homely pub set in the lovely Ironbridge, Coalport area. We have visited more times than I can count and every meal has been exceptional. The Sunday lunches are my favourite of anywhere. Delicious meats and great selection of vegetables, fabulous service. The staff are all so lovely. The menu is extensive and a lovely outside area to have a nice wine and admire the beautiful scenery

Great room in a quiet peaceful area
Room and cleanliness was very good.
Parking out front available free.
Word of caution that on Wednesdays the pub is closed and therefore you have to do self check-in. So look out for a separate email from the pub directly.
Access is straight forward, although initially unexpected.

Great stay
We were there for two nights.
Staff were friendly on arrival.
We had a group meal on the Saturday. The food was good.
Service friendly and good.

Cosy country pub near Ironbridge.
Overnight stay in cosy pub in Coalport. Although pub didnt open until 5pm, early room check in was available without issue . Clean room with comfy bed and everything you need for a short stay.

Travelled for 1 night with my dad. Family room worked well. Staff helpful. Room condition excellent. Very clean. Pub food great

Room was clean, plenty of tea and coffee makings! Pub closed at 10.00pm which was great as rooms were above the premises. Comfortable bed. A fair price for the room. All in all a very positive experience! Thank you!
