Ipswich Town Centre (Quayside)

Comfy bed and good facilities in a Premier Plus room. However the airconditioning made the room stuffy when warm. Nice bathroom and shower (but toilet lid has to be lowered to reach the flush buttons!). Good-wifi, extension HDMI socket to plug Firestick etc into the TV. Breakfast buffet was a bit on the thin side - uninspiring selection of cereals, no fresh cheese or meats, but the cooked breakfast was very good. The usual totally rubbish hotel toasters (why do they use those barely heating Dualit toasters?). A nice practical place to stay when visiting or working in the quayside area. Very noisy and busy traffic outside, being pretty much on a traffic island, but quiet and restful inside (as long as the windows are closed). Friendly, helpul staff (24 hrs). Overall good for a very confortable utitilty stay.
Travelodge Ipswich

5* room. Very up to date room. Amazing for a budget hotel. Beside either side of the bed was usb chart points to charge your phone, lovely mood lighting both sides of the bed and above. Very modern room and bathroom. Well laid out with everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Service from reception was great, borrowed an iron which was helpful. Breakfast the next morning had a lot of variety including dairy alternatives which worked well for both me and my partner with dairy intolerance. Will stay again. Great location as very close to the Quay and local bars.

Everything is fine! The room is not air-conditioned, and the bathroom design and ventilation are problematic. The room is large, there is free parking, and there are major supermarkets, restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
The Station Hotel

I accompanied a group of Octogenarians to the Station Hotel for lunch. The food was really good and the staff were very friendly, most polite and helpful they could not have been nicer to us oldies. The atmosphere was as good as the food and we will most definately visit the venue again, God Willing!!
Muthu Belstead Brook Hotel

The hotel is just on the outskirts of Ipswich. The staff are very welcoming, and extremely helpful. The rooms are of a good size and very clean. The housekeeping staff cleaned our room every morning after we had gone out, which was excellent. The restaurant food is of a very high standard and there is a good choice including vegetarian options. In the bar area where it is of a relaxed nature, you can order food from the bar menu or the restaurant menu. Either way, nothing is ever too much trouble. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room are a must. My husband used the gym which was of an average size and then would come down to the pool area for a jacuzzi. Although they have the spa treatment available, I can't really comment as I didn't use the facility. If you want a relaxing time or want to visit the seaside, Felixstowe is only a 30minute drive away. There are also many National Trust houses to visit. This the second time we have been to the Belstead Hotel and I can honestly say we will be visiting it again.

I have been looking at hotels with my father for a while, and found this hotel to be the best bang for the buck when it comes to location and facilities. Staff was absolutely professional and especially Heather was incredibly helpful when it came to suggestions for places to eat and leisure. Will absolutely stay again and can't wait to see what this place has more to offer
