Good little hotel could do with a refurbishment freshen up the place

Discusted no handle on bath. walls got holes sockets out carpet discusted window stay open whit peace a wood

Was not happy with my stay hear

If you want to share a night with the wildlife this hotel is the one for you. An actual rat ran across me in the night and I got over 100 bed bug bites for the privilege of £55. Bedding dirty, broken window, heater hanging off the wall. Scared to actually turn it on. That wet mop smell like the bedding has sat in a washer for 3 days then hung up to dry. Carpet so badly moth eaten you can see the floorboards. Sink with fag's burns in it. Only the cold tap worked. Stained towel no bigger than a flannel. Broken windows that are help up with a bit of wood. Above a kitchen so it stinks of grease. I complained to the bar staff who couldn't care less just laughed and said yeah that's about right. I'll be taking my complaint to ipswich council this place needs shutting down it's a health hazard.

Checked in on Sunday evening around 5PM. Receptionist in the pub was pleasant and checked me in swiftly even with a drunk regular leaching over her. I wasn’t aware of the room that had been booked as it was booked by my company. However upon checkin I found out it was a shared bathroom arrangement which wasn’t ideal but I was only the for one night so can lump it. I headed up stairs to my room and to say my jaw dropped when I saw the room is an understatement. The curtains we hanging off the rail that was held up with string. There was what looked like a large sick stain on the floor and the window out on to the street opposite the train station was single glazed and didn’t shut properly. However all this in mind I decided to get an early night and use the bathroom in the morning. I will let you make your own decisions by the pictures posted but it’s safe to say I will not be stopping there again.

my back covered by bed bugs bites.Dont recommend unless you like to get bit by something in your sleep,beds not very comfortable this hotel definitely needs refurbishing as soon as possible.Pub downstairs serves nice food and nice pint..

We didn't actually stay as the room was terrible how can you charge £67 a night for a room with no toilet or bathroom, also the carpet was disgusting stained,window doesn't open very well room very hot no fan 1 cup for a double room. How can this happen in 2024 health & safety standards.

I accompanied a group of Octogenarians to the Station Hotel for lunch. The food was really good and the staff were very friendly, most polite and helpful they could not have been nicer to us oldies. The atmosphere was as good as the food and we will most definately visit the venue again, God Willing!!

I only went to the hotel as I had missed my train and had an hour to wait for the next one. Straight over the road from the station, really convenient. Staff I meet very friendly, bar well presented and food lovely. I had a drink and loaded chips with sweet n sour chicken n prawn crackers on top. Food was lovely and warm and looked and smelled appetising. Certainly was all of these things. They also do rooms here but I only popped in while waiting on next train.
