We had to ask for a second mug,knife, fork, and spoon as there was only one of each in the room. I had no idea on how to operate the tv,and no instructions on how to operate it,then the office was closed by 6.30pm instead of 8.30 so no one to give me instructions.

We had the best sleep! The bed is just so comfy, difficult to get out in the morning. We have our 2 poodles traveling with us, and they were made very welcome. The room , toilet, shower were all spotlessly clean. The shower was hot and just what we needed after a 7 hour drive. I would highly recommend the Motel Inverell as a comfortable, well maintained and very affordable place to stay.

Average overall experience in a renovated room. I have stayed in similar priced cabins/ rooms in the area & this does not impress. I am unlikely to stay here again.

I organised a late check for a worker which was for 12pm. They started knocking on his door saying he need to get out. Normal check out is 10am. My worker called me to let me know what was going on. I called them and the Manager was trying her best to let him stay but the "boss" said the cleaners are there now and he had to leave. After arguing with them, my driver who had only 3 hrs sleep due to working overnight left but as he was leaving, they told him he could stay if he wanted. He was already up and is now on an 8-hour trip back to Sydney. If this is the kind of service from the boss, no wonder there are plenty of 1-star ratings, worst motel I've ever had to deal with.

I was very disappointed in the experience at Inverell. I did not get there for family reasons. I contacted the owners with eight days notice but they were not able to accept my cancellation. They said i had to go back to your company because I booked through you. I found it very difficult to find contact with Wotif and will make sure I avoid using you in any future travel plans.
