Had a great stay here. It’s expensive but with a lovely room, incredible spa, amazing breakfast and delicious dinner it was so worth it compared to what you’d pay elsewhere. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and outdoor sauna were really special - we were lucky to get them almost to ourselves at 9am. Definitely recommend. Food and drink expensive, but worth it to sit with the lovely view.

On the positive side this hotel is in a beautiful location and I loved the look and feel of all the public rooms. The welcome at reception was very good. Spa was lovelyThis was a gift from family so no idea the cost but the alcohol and food prices were exhorbitant. The waiting staff were poorly trained and constantly made mistakes with drinks orders. Three times at table next to us. Wandered about the dining room not sure whose order they were delivering. Waited ages at breakfast for order to be taken. Had to ask. Plenty staff but totally disorganised. Many tables had to ask for toast to be delivered. When my breakfast came the eggs were missing. Took it back and it arrived with one egg. He asked if I only wanted 1 egg. I just accepted it at that point. This level of service is unacceptable especially with the drinks and food costs. I dont need a managers reply to this, I implore you to improve the situation by training these nice young people and ensuring better linkage between bar, kitchen and waiting staff.

Really friendly and accommodating staff. Good food and drinks again a little pricey. Great spa. Rooms a little on the simple side. Could be a few more frills for the money spent. But on the whole I had a great experience there. Would recommend to others to stay.

- outside jacuzzi which I was looking forward to using was not working on both days - no coffee capsules in the Kin Suite room! Apparently, the delivery for them was delayed? - burnt my favourite dress with the iron that was in the room which was leaking water and as TOO hot - there were 2 warm beds in the spa area that were "reserved" by other people by putting books there. I asked staff if it is possible to use the beds as nobody was there, and was refused. So, haven't used jacuzzi and the beds that I paid for. My room was one of the most expensive in the hotel, but the service was definitely not up to it. - restaurant is very busy and almost impossible to get the booking, or it only serves food during certain times a day. We were refused food at 5pm as the restaurant could take orders from 6 pm or so... - water tank in reception was empty when I was going to get a drink after sauna

This is not an 4 star hotel in the slightest bit. Aeden was beyond rude. I ordered an aperol spritz, world-wide recipe is known as 3 oz Prosecco, 2 oz aperol, & 1 oz club soda. When the drink came as barely pink I asked for it to made properly. They refused to make it & charged me for the drink I didn’t consume after I was told it would be taken off. Aeden went on to try & insult & belittle me by acting extremely unprofessional, questioning in what country the actual recipe is used. Dear Aeden, I requested them in Scotland & was served the proper formulation without having to tell them the ratios. It was only your establishment that watered down their drinks. He told me that the recipe on the back of the bottle was just a suggestion. Thankfully reception came through & resolved our issue in a professional manner. Hopefully he will learn from her example as how to properly handle one’s self. Overall the restaurant was a horrible experience. The food was not good & they are not accommodating in the slightest bit. Again, this is not a 4 star hotel. The room itself needed a deep clean. The baseboards in the bathrooms were dirty, as were the walls. The hand sprayer in the shower had mildew in it, please see photos. I would not stay here again & I would advise everyone to avoid.

Our group of 4 had a wonderful experience at the Spa. We were greeted by Niall O'Shaughnessy who was friendly and made us feel welcome. We were shown around the Spa. The pool and indoor hot tub were spacious and warm. Outside there was a Sona and hot tub both lovely. Our group had massages and a facial done by Chelsea and Margaret both who were so professional and friendly, they made us feels comfortable. The salt and steam rooms were perfect. We also had afternoon tea, the cakes were so delicious and we had a wonderful view . While we had our teas and coffees Niall came and checked in with us. All the staff we spoke to were extremely professional, approachable and friendly. We all enjoyed our day so much and will be back.
