"We arrived at the hotel and the receptionists are quite rude, we had a bad experience with alia, it is her name, she was quite rude and rude, also that she is not well understood, the English she handles, it seems absurd to us that you have to leave the hotel at 12 and ati they let you enter until 3 to the same, the only good thing was the buffet. The Latin staff is wonderful victoria, Ruth and suleyma are so helpful plus the manager of them Carlos is his name we told him about the experience with the front desk and he apologized to us plus he offered us a free breakfast so friendly and helpful. Our cleanliness was good, the girl's name is maricela, she cared about everything, she was wonderful. As always, the Latino staff cares more about all customers, your Somali staff is not quite rude, change them all."

"The hotel was convenient to a major highway, shopping and eateries. The room was nicely decorated with a comfortable chair to relax in. The hall was hot, poorly lit and the carpet looked dirty. There was a bag of garbage left at the ice machine for more than 12 hours, the soda machine did not work. The room was freezing and I was unable to adjust the thermostat to a comfortable temperature. The picture on the tv was terrible and there was a minimal number of channels to choose from. A cooked to order breakfast was included with the room, however, it was really a buffet with poor quality food."

GGuest UserFrom the time that I walked into Home 2 Suites by Hilton I was pleased. The two gentlemen at check-in were very welcoming and informative. They explained everything about the hotel and offered information of places to eat near us. Our room was ready for us and very clean. Breakfast had a variety of choices and all was enjoyable with all areas very clean. Check-out went fast and smooth and I was asked how was my stay and if there were any problems. There was nothing negative fir me to say. Our stay was great! I am a freguent traveler and will definitely return to this Homes and Suites Hilton if in the area!

JJustinGot stuck in Newark overnight, as were many people that night, and I booked this room pretty late when there weren’t many options left. I was lucky to get it. It’s wasn’t far from the airport. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. The lady at the desk when I checked out was quite friendly. It’s a bit noisy because it’s on the main road.

It rained both days after I checked in. I could hide in my room or go to the lobby to get some fresh air, but I couldn't walk across the road to Jersey Garden for shopping and eating. I ordered Uber Eat, which was a bit expensive, but they would call me at the front desk when I arrived.
There are still too many crew members.
I remember that we didn’t have breakfast before, but now we have it. It’s the heated kind. Fortunately, I have an American stomach, so I think it’s pretty good.
Personally, I feel that the EWR entry and exit experience is better than that of JFK.

The price is 60% of that, but the facilities, location, hygiene and breakfast are all winning, and there will be a chance to stay in the future. There are many places to shop and eat around the hotel. The Dragonfly restaurant next to it is especially recommended. It is very cheap and good. It is not like New York but the price in China. It tastes very good. I am excited to give a 20% tip. The hotel facilities are complete, the breakfast is also quite rich, the room is clean and hygienic, and I slept well. recommend

GGuest UserThis is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. It works out well for us because it is close to Newark liberty airport. There are a few places to eat around this hotel but not much. There is a very large mall within walking distance and it has a few restaurants in it as well. I'm talking IHOP, tgi Friday's and the like. As for the hotel, it's somewhat average but OK for at nights sleep prior to flying out, or just before a cruise. In our room, just like before, the USB ports at the bedside don't work, and the water pressure is fairly low. On this particular trip they even ran out of paper plates for the morning breakfast. I thought this was a easy fixable problem by just sending somebody to go buy some. It was somewhat inconvenient for the guests as they only had bowls for your eggs and sausage. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but I felt like somebody should have taken care of this. The coffee is good they have free transportation to the airport running on the quarter hour, 24 hours a day. When we stayed there prior to taking a cruise, they also provided transportation to the cruise port costing$36 per person. They also offer round trip transportation from the cruise port if needed.
Would we stay there again? Probably not. There are several other hotels that are right across the street and I think we'll give them a try next time.

AAnonymous UserStayed for one night, nothing dissatisfied. The surrounding environment is an industrial area, not very new to the eye. We arrived at the plane in the middle of the night, the front desk waited until two o'clock to complete the check-in procedures, and the attitude was very good. It's really close to the airport. At 6 o'clock in the morning, the roar of take-off becomes background noise. At 8 o'clock, it is more frequent. It is also good to urge people to get up early and hurry.

GGuest UserI stayed at this location twice during my trip & had different experiences based on the person at the front desk. The hotel has a shuttle but it only runs certain hours; therefore, if your flight is late and the front desk doesn’t care, you are left stranded in finding a way to the hotel. The first person rounded up a shuttle for pick up, the second person said I just needed to find a way there (which was very expensive).
The breakfast was hot coffee and bags of tea & hot water, instant packs of oatmeal and grits (when not hoarded by other guests), individually packaged chocolate & plain muffins, and granola bars. It’s something, but definitely not my first choice.
This place is not the best nor the worst so if you want a definite shuttle, choose a closer location.
