Welcome to the Eleanor. She is a sophisticated cabin unit located on the Apple River. She is located just 200 feet from the shore with private water access and is just a walk away from beautiful downtown Amery. This 2 bedroom sleeps 5 comfortably and has a large shared outdoor deck with a beautiful view. It has peace and quiet, river access, free kayaks/paddle boards when available, fire pits and beautiful scenery. Bring your ATV/UTVs, boats, snowmobiles, and all of your other toys. We are close to many other waterways, hiking, and recreational trails.There are several seasonal single and tandem kayaks, SUPS, and a paddle boat. There are so many wonderful local places to enjoy. Just 15 minutes away from the Barred Owl, Fiddlehead kitchen, and a stones throw away from Junior’s Kitchen, and many other local restaurants, breweries, wineries, and recreational places. Our neighborhood is quiet, on a one mile loop that runs along the river and close to York Park. This is a beautiful new construction duplex cabin. The laundry room and outdoor space are the only things that are shared when other guests have reserved the other unit. We offer free kayaks, SUPs, and Paddle boat with a variety of life vests. Most are available May 1st - October1st for free. We always recommend you bring your own life vests as we may not have one that fits you but we do provide them. A limited supply of snow shoes are also available upon request during the snowy season. Rest assured, it has been tested and is completely safe to use.-We do not allow drugs, smoking, or excessive partying on the property. Any violation of this policy may result in an additional cleaning fee of $100-$300, depending on the severity, and possibly being asked to leave early.-We have a steep driveway, and we make every effort to keep it plowed in winter. Our cabin features a large deck overlooking the lake, and is only 30 feet from the shore. The shoreline is gravel and is shallow for the first 25ft making it a great place to play in the water. The cabin has 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds, 1 twin bed), kitchen, and living room (pull out couch) which walks out onto the 200+ sq ft deck. The cabin is a cozy 800 sq ft but can host a surprising number of people for its size. We love this cabin for water skiing and playing on the lake. Its located on one of the calmest areas on the lake and we water ski and play right in front of the cabin. Bone lake is a great fishing lake, and you can catch plenty of pan fish off the dock. Our neighbors are quiet and family oriented. We expect our guests to be the same and respect our great neighbors. We are not interested in renting to anyone looking to party or be loud at night. A 1500lb water mat and kayak are available to use. Room on the dock for you to bring a boat. Bone Lake is a 1667 acre lake. It is a 4.8 mile boat ride from one end of the lake to the other. It has a maximum depth of 43 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass and Northern Pike.We have yearly inspections and are a licensed rental property with Polk County, Wisconsin. Wisconsin is home to over 1,800 miles of ATV trails and this home has direct access to them! Enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset from an outdoor seating area right on the property. And if you’d like to get your toes in the sand, grab our wagon and load up your gear and some snacks because the public beach is just a short walk down the road from here. We have 2 canoes and a paddleboard on hand for guest uses for those that want to get out on the lake. If you feel so inclined, you could also take the short 10 mile drive to the St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake any time of year!Inside this spacious 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom home, you will find a comfortable and sunny living and dining space with a spacious and well-equipped kitchen that has all of the appliances needed to accommodate making your delicious meals (including a dishwasher so no fights on who scrubs the dishes!) The bedrooms are spacious and include several accommodations to make your stay comfortable including new mattresses and bedding for each of the beds. The house has central air and heat for the large temperature swings in Wisconsin. The master bedroom has a king bed with an on-suite bathroom! The on-suite bathroom has a large, beautiful shower and a 3 person sauna! Bedroom 2 has a queen bed with a view of the lake. Bedroom 3 a double and a twin bed. This home is very kid-friendly with access to a pack-n-play, high chair, and variety of toys on site. The 2nd full bathroom has a bath tub and shower combo to make it easy to clean off those kiddos after the day’s fun.
