There are very few places in the world like Ridgway. I am amazed at the continuing outdoor activity that never seems to stop. It just transitions from winter activities, skiing, cross country ski, ice climbing, snowmobiles, snow boarding and on and on. Then we transition in to Spring and all that goes with it, from Mountain Climbing, Hiking, Jeep Trails to die for, Fishing, Boating, Motorcycling and on and on. The beauty that surrounds this little community is surreal. When I purchased this perfectly located property it had This beautiful log home rental with spectacular views of the Cimarron and the San Juan Mountains. The cabin is now a fully furnished mountain retreat with everything you will need for a comfortable, affordable stay. Private road with lots of wildlife. Beautiful old Cottonwood trees with an old tire swing. A creek runs through the pasture keeping the grass lush and green. Enjoy the panoramic mountain views. Spacious 3bed/2bath home on 3 acres perched high above the mighty Uncompahgre River. Take a stroll down to the river on the property, or head over to the Ridgway State Park less than a half mile away. The town of Ridgway is 3 miles away, where shops and restaurants abound. Telluride is a convenient 45 min away and Ouray is only 10 minutes to its hot springs and adventures!This property makes an excellent base camp for many activities, especially hunting during autumn. Convenient access to units 62 and 65. Plenty of parking for trailers, atv’s, utv’s, etc. Plenty of wildlife to watch right at the property. Bald eagles arrive late September/early October for the fall salmon run from the Ridgway reservoir up the Uncompahgre river. The eagles often stay around until late November/early December. This house has an attached lock off apartment, otherwise known as an additional dwelling unit (ADU). The owner occupies this ADU when he is not traveling for work. There is absolutely no shared spaces. The only place with interaction would be in the driveway/yard. The camera in the back yard is to the right side of the master bedroom and spans out about 100 ft thru the back yard.
