Stainless kitchen appliances, gas stove, and the best stocked kitchen you'll find. 65" TV in living room, with smart TVs in all bedrooms as well. Starlink satellite internet for fast, problem-free downloads, streaming, and browsing. Owner converted one bedroom into a well-equipped home gym, featuring plenty of weights, bands, bars, bells, and benches. House also features a 4-person golf cart, provided sheets and towels, Webber grill, Hatteras hammock, outdoor shower, bicycles, helmets, and spacious flat backyard. New driveway, walk-in shower, porch screens. Fish cleaning bench, rods, coolers, and chairs for your beach trips. Property is being conservatively and selectively rented for six people max, no smoking. Three day minimum. Keypad combination provided upon reservation. Cozy Cottage, perfect for couples or small families. Short walk away from the inlet and all the shops and restaurants surrounding. This is a 350 sq ft cottage. This beautiful bungalow is completed with a queen size bed, a pull out couch (full), a full bathroom, a large outside shower, tv, internet, kitchenette with large dorm sized refrigerator and freezer, small kitchen sink, and hot plate with pots and pans. Recently renovated because of Hurricane Dorian, we have also added an outside shower to a list of the amenities, and If you are looking to escape and enjoy the freedom from the hustle and bustle of day to day life, this is your perfect island paradise. Don't forget the dogs! Dogs are allowed for a small additional fee. Please leave the cottage better than you found it! We do not provide linens, towels, or paper products. This is my personal cottage, so please respect it as if it were your grandmothers :). Check in is at 2pm, Check out is 11am. If you have any specific request don’t hesitate to ask, I promise you I’m a friendly fellow. There are golf carts available at the house one is dedicated for guest use. "My husband and I enjoyed an extended stay at Blackbeard's Lodge in September due to the King Tides which washed out rt. 12. We were due to stay only 2 nights, but had to extend our trip an additional 2 due to the high tides washing out the roads. The manager Sherry was so accommodating and understanding of the circumstances as we checked in every morning to see if things had opened up. She pointed us to helpful social media sites and gave us phone numbers to call to check on the ferry. As stated in some of the other posts, the rooms are dated and could use some work, but we came to find out the hotel had just opened up the first week of September due to the devastation of Dorian the year before. Yes, the game room is empty, but since that room was under water last year (and, you know, covid), we were not surprised. We found our room to be clean. Yes, there was no maid service due to Covid restrictions, but that was explained to us on check in. Extra towels would be delivered upon request. Since we had to extend our stay, we had to change rooms during our visit, but Sherry hooked us up with a room in the newer, refurbished area of the hotel and it was very nice. The location was perfect and we would definitely stay here again. Good luck to the owners and staff as they continue to get on their feet after Dorian. My only suggestion would be to share some of the challenges/changes/needed upgrades since Dorian so guests know what to expect when they arrive. The pictures on the website are obviously pre-Dorian and things do look different. Pics of the hotel after the hurricane may help guests to see how difficult the rebuilt is and they may be more understanding."
