Welcome to our very own White House. This charming little place was built in 1925 and has retained all of its original Craftsman style. It has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. It also has what we lovingly refer to as the ¼ bathroom down stairs. There is a full sized and well stocked kitchen, with attached dining room and a comfortably furnished living room. There is a desk to one side for those who need to bring a little work along on the trip. There are 2 queen beds and 1 full bed. There are also two fold away mattresses. This place comfortably sleeps 8 people. All of the beds and bedding are new and of a high quality. This place is in the downtown Nauvoo district and is minutes away from all of the historical sites. Although situated near Old Nauvoo and the wonderful historic sites down on the "flats," the home sits on quiet end of Knight Street and backs to a large communal back yard with a well-equipped pavilion that is also available for day-rental. Perfect for large groups or small families.The home sleeps ten comfortably with five bedrooms--four of them in the historic part of the house, and one in the loft. Two have king beds, and three queens. The large living room downstairs has lots of lounge and sitting room and a gas fireplace. The house addition includes a historic stairway that was moved from a 150-year-old bank and a full service bathroom with Jacuzzi (and shower) on the main floor.
