Renting this home will allow you access to the homes guest pass to access this waterfront park. If you are planning to bring a boat, jet ski or other water craft, you need to let us know before your stay so we can order the guest pass for you boat and trailer. There is no moorage at the lake, so all water crafts have to be pulled out in the evening. The Lake Cushman Golf Course is a short 10 minute drive up the road. Our family lake place of 50 years is the perfect home base for your next vacation to the Olympic National Forest.Spend your days kayaking Lake Cushman or hiking the many nearby trails, then return home to a dog-friendly living space, a wood-burning fireplace, and a selection of board games, books and movies for your entertainment. Outside, there's a large deck for socializing and dining. Off-street parking is available for 4-6 vehicles, perfect for getting together with friends. A private community park and boat launch are just a few blocks walking distance and a parking pass is included. Boat launch requires an additional fee per day of use however not required for kayaks that can be carried to the beach.The cabin was built in 1970 and still retains many of the charming decorative details of that time period. We love having a lived-in space to relax with our family and friends and we hope you do as well.Accessibility: This is a 2-story home with the main sleeping areas and full bathroom located on the upper level. Stairs must be used to enter the home from either the front or back door. The community park is located down a short hill from the home, but you can use the provided parking pass to drive down if you would prefer not to walk. The Coman's beach house is a newly restored 1966 mid century modern costal style home. It sits 30' back from a no bank bulked with steps down to beach access. The two main bedrooms on the top floor face the water sunrise is amazing and there are blackout curtains if you don't want the light to wake you up. There are two decks one upper level off of the bedrooms and one lower off of the kitchen living area. The kids room has a twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle and a princess tent. This place is great for all seasons with fishing swimming floating during the summer and hiking staying in with the unique round wood stove and movie on the projector screen.
