The cabin is located steps away from the sandy bottom lake with depths increasing slowly for the younger swimmers and optimal for wading out to the sandbar just off the dock. Bald eagle sightings are prominent and the loons are always calling!Take a break from the lake and head into Alexandria (recently voted best town in Minnesota) for all of the local attractions. Including Casey's Amusement Park, ample downtown shopping, delicious local restaurants, and so much more! There are many local wineries and breweries that are close to the cabin/lake. Including, Carlos Creek Winery/22 Northmen Brewery, Rolling Forks Vineyard, LEtoile du Nord Vineyard, and Thousand Lakes Brewery are just a few.
