Newly renovated loft in a building that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Centrally located in the Gunnison Valley, the loft is in downtown Gunnison and walking distance from shops, restaurants, grocery stores and WCU. In the summer, you can enjoy hiking, biking, ATV trails, fly fishing, rafting, horseback riding and golfing. Crested Butte is a half hour away and is the wildflower capital of Colorado. In the winter, Crested Butte Ski resort and Monarch Mountain are 45 minutes away. This newly remodeled loft is on the second floor of the tallest building in downtown Gunnison. The Webster Building was one of the first permanent structures in downtown Gunnison. Originally, the building had a retail shop on the first floor while the proprietor lived on the second floor. The third floor was used as a social hall and rumor has it was a place that Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday would play cards during their stay in Gunnison after Earp's vendetta ride. Currently, the first floor is home to Pawsitively Native, while the second and third floors are both lofts. The back deck includes a grill and a picnic table for guests to enjoy. The apartment is a great place to stay and relax as you experience everything the Gunnison Valley has to offer, while still being able to enjoy all the amenities of home. There is plenty of space with the loft's open floor plan and tall ceilings. The coffee bar is a morning favorite and everyone loves a good game of foosball at the foosball table. There is a washer and dryer for your personal use as well.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 2 total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:The main renter has to be the credit card holder that paid for the booking..If any of the house rules are broken, we can cancel the reservation at any time,For stays over 10 days, we reserve the right to check the property with notice.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 21.About events:No events allowed.

You will have sole access to the whole third floor loft, aside from a cleaning closet that will be locked.Other things to noteThere is a single sleeper sofa in the primary walk in closet with a window and closing door. The security cameras that are on the premise are the Ring doorbells at the front entrance that only record when the doorbell is rang and the security camera in the back alley for the businesses on Main Street. The alley camera actively records the parking space behind the building for the business on the first floor, but it does not record above the first story onto the upper deck or stairwells where you will be staying. There are three flights of stairs to get to the loft, which can make access harder for some people. There is free parking on the street, but it is 2 hour parking on Main Street from 8:00am to 5:00pm (apart from Sundays). "Super clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Great swimming pool and hotvtub. Good comfy beds.
The breakfast is good and eating area laid out nicely, but there's not enough tables and seats. Surely some more could be added in the mornings."

Great
CCarpenterKristenOwners need to update the mattresses (pull out and king size). Not great sleep, but otherwise fine place to stay with two young kids
GGuest UserWe have been eyeing the gorgeous location for years, and finally decided to take a chance. It's one of the best values in a hotel stay we have found! The location did not disappoint, either, set far back from the highway, backing up to the golf course with picture perfect ponds, towering trees, and lovely flowers. We didn't hear any road noise at all. The building is older, but in good repair, and the bed super comfy. There are a few amenities missing that the newer chain hotels have, but we were not lacking anything important. The only disappointment to me was the breakfast-I am a diabetic and the only thing I could eat was hard boiled eggs... But discovered when smothered woth sausage gravy are delicious and satisfying. We will come back.
