“Our little house on the corner” was built in 1954. We totally remodeled it this spring for short term renting. The upstairs is now a master suite and two bedrooms are on the first floor. You will not be disappointed with the style and decor. Everything is new but the hardwood refinished floors. If you are traveling through Gallia County for a wedding, reunion, party or just vacationing you will enjoy our home. No other persons will share the home with you. Bob Evans Farm Restaurant, Merry Family Winery, GreenValley Gathering Place are all just minutes away. Downtown Gallipolis is just a quick drive too. The daily rate is for two adults and each additional adult is 25.00 per night. There is no charge for children under 16. There is a small one time cleaning fee of 35.00 for the downstairs and an additional 20.00 if upstairs is used also. This too is a one time charge. This small two story home was built in 1900. Updates through the years have not lost the charm. This two bedroom and two full bath home has plenty of room for a traveling family or professionals for business. Decorated in all new retro style interior, it takes you to a time of peace and tranquil. The time period is 1955-early 60’s. Teals, reds, yellows and other rich colors throughout brighten your day. There are a few choice pieces from our past that we just had to place in the home. Next door are two other of our places. You can walk to the downtown area for views of the river or ratios that are locally owned mom and pop. Sit on the front porch or relax on the back deck. The property also borders a deep creek, with lots of trees. The cabins & yard are mostly separated from the road by the restaurant (no longer open to the public with the exception of serving the B&B cabins). Two parking spaces available per cabin (please reach out ahead of time should you want more spaces). Locally-sourced coffee provided in the cabin. The room is heated/cooled primarily with a mini split unit.Guest accessGuests can access the river, beach, and large yard at their leisure. There is also a landing spot for boats about four miles south (KH Butler) and a cute little town about a 10-minute drive north. Free onsite parking lot is available. Just a short drive from the Ohio River is Pt. Pleasant, WV which offers a variety of Farm and Homestead Museums such as John Gee Black Museum, Our House Museum, Pt.
