"I really enjoyed my three nights day at A touch of Pink secret garden. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and well decorated. The swimming pool had a very nice lounge area with barbecue facilities.
I ate all of my meals at the secret garden and everything was very good. The service was amazing, they were very helpful and delivered my meals to my room when i asked.
The owner was very kind and communicated well on what's app I think the Touch of Pink Secret Garden is a very special place and i look for to coming back."

The location was perfect and the staff were great. The food was also very delicious, especially the fries!! Highly recommended!
There are no amenities, so you have to prepare those yourself. There is no hair dryer either.
But the room was clean. There is no air conditioning, but the fan is cool enough so it's not a problem.

The hotel was beautifully looked after. Clean inside and out. The shower and toilet and room facilities were outstanding. The pools outside are gorgeous.
Can't forget the staff. Professional, polite, genuinely helpful. I stayed as a stopover for the night from puerto princesa to San vincente.

"My husband and I stayed in one of the little huts with our own deck. It was so nice to relax in the hammock. Everything was clean and the staff were very quick to help if you needed something. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The food was delicious and they were able to make vegan for me. We walked down to the beach and back which I enjoyed because it was good exercise. The walk to the beach can be steep at times so wouldn't be good for someone with mobility issues. We loved it here and would definitely go back and recommend it to our friends. "

"The experience over all was amazing. We truly enjoyed our time in this hotel. The staff were very accommodating (they did need to switch us rooms though cause the first one had an AC with a bad smell) but without hassle they changed us and everything was fine. I think if the ac doesnât run for a while they can do that. The pool was absolutely great, we spent most days in the pool at least once. I did wish it had a bit of shaded area over the pool itself but the water temperature was just right and so relaxing. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious. We had some lunches and dinners there too which were all great as well. There is a very cool 360 roof bar with a happy hour, though it was disappointing that the front desk info said it included cocktails and beer for happy hour but we were told beer only for happy hour prices when we went up there. Â The location and the views are just stunning from wherever you look and itâs truly peaceful. It is a bit far away so you would want a motorbike or car rental, which we did have so it wasnât a problem for us. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had in the Philippines and we would definitely go back! :)"

"I had such a great experience staying at Hue Hotels and Resorts El Nido. The location is super convenient, itâs close to everything! Restaurants, shops, and the starting points for island-hopping tours are all just a short walk or tricycle ride away, which made getting around really easy.
The best part for me was the rooftop. The view from up there is stunning â you can see the dramatic limestone cliffs and surrounding greenery. Itâs the perfect spot to relax after a day of island tours or to catch the sunset with a drink in hand.

KKenDucsWe recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced in Palawan. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access local attractions. However, there was some noise from a nearby bar late at night. It wasn't too distracting for me, especially on the higher floors, so I recommend requesting one of those if youâre sensitive to sound.
The hotel itself is well-maintained, likely due to its recent renovations. The elevator, though small, was smooth and always clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The bathroom was a highlightâvery clean and comfortable, although I did find the water heater a bit challenging to adjust.
Each room features a smart lock and a smart TV with Netflix and other apps, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was reliable, even on the highest floor, allowing for seamless browsing.

The room was clean, nice, and tidy. The pillows, bedsheets, and blankets smelled freshly laundered, and the floor and furniture were spotless. Cleanliness is highly maintained not just inside the room, but also in the hallways and other public areas. They do housekeeping every day, change the towels regularly, and always make sure your hygiene kit is fully stocked.
The only issue I had was on my first dayâthe room wasnât prepared according to my request, possibly due to an oversight. I had to be transferred to another room, and while it didnât smell very pleasant at first, it was still clean overall.

If you're looking for a peaceful place with a great view but still not too far from the city center, this is perfect! Itâs not far from the airport and is surrounded by restaurants, drugstores are near, small stores for cheap things to buy, nearby malls, and groceriesâbut then the area isnât crowded. It strikes a great balance between convenience and tranquility.
Btw, if you are just travelling for leisure (DIY),renting a motor to go around is much cheaper than getting a tricycle

I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days, traveling alone. The staff made me feel really comfortable and were always ready to help with anything I neededâfrom check-in to check-out. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Filipino hospitality was truly evident here (Im a Filipino). Special shoutout to the restaurant staff who served breakfast and other mealsâthey were always smiling, friendly, and attentive.

The cleanliness of the hotel was good, although I did notice that the chairs in our room could use a vacuum, as they had some dark stains. Additionally, the roomâs smell could be improved to create a more welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
On the plus side, I absolutely loved the mattress and comforter; they made for a very comfortable sleep. The location is a major advantage, being right in front of the mall, making it easy to access shopping and dining options.
The staff were generally nice and accommodating, though I found the waiter at the restaurant to be a bit shy. He seemed to lack communication skills, as he didnât greet customers or smile, which detracted from the overall experience. I think he could benefit from some additional training in customer service.
As for the food, while it was fine, I felt that the prices were a bit steep considering the typical quality and serving sizes.
In summary, while it's not a luxury hotel, it provides a decent stay with comfortable accommodations and a good location. To be honest, I was a bit worried at first because I had read a review saying the resort wasnât nice and had many issues, especially due to ongoing renovations. But when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprisedâit was actually very nice!
The resort was clean, the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. The food was greatâyes, it was a bit pricey because of the added VAT and service charge, but it was delicious, so it was worth it.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place! đ

Every room has air conditioning and a water heater which was really good. The bed was comfortable and the room had a fridge. You need to take a tuk tuk (150 pesos per ride) to go anywhere but that was fine with me. What I really disliked is the price of the food. It was the most expensive menu Iâve seen in the Philippines for normal food, not even fancy and really average taste. Just because of this Iâd not stay here again. But overall, the rooms are okay.

We recently stayed at Microtel Hotel, booking two rooms, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
The rooms were outdated, with dim lighting that made it hard to see. The shower controls were rusted, and even the tissue holders showed significant wear. We were surprised to find that thereâs no in-house restaurant, and the breakfast offered was not worth the price.
Despite having a small number of guests, the breakfast options were limited to eggs, sausage, tocino, bread, rice, fruit slices, coffee, and juice. It took a long time for the staff to refill these items, and they werenât even heated properly. To add to our frustration, my nephew, who is in grade 5, was charged as an adult because they donât have a child rate.
The towels were also outdated, which contributed to the overall feeling of neglect in terms of maintenance.
On a positive note, the staff were welcoming and friendly, which was appreciated. The beach in front of the resort was beautiful, but it wasn't enough to make up for the lack of proper amenities and upkeep.
Overall, we left feeling that Microtel Hotel needs significant improvements to meet basic hospitality standards.
