"I so enjoyed Camiguin and Mabini Hotel that I extended my stay multiple times.
The food,especially the giant pizzas was excellent and very reasonably priced.
The rooms and common areas including the salt filtration pool were always spotless..
Ideally located just on the edge of Mambujao, the town centre was a mere 10 minute stroll away.
The staff always available and friendly made the hotel feel like home . Thanks to the girls Bebylen, Gracie,Alfie, Belle ,Justine and Cecile.....Christian ( housekeeping) and Albin ( cook ) for making my stay so memorable.
I highly recommend Mabini Hotel to anyone visiting Camiguin."

"The ambiance of the place is lively and vibrant, with tasty welcome drinks and a superb bar. However, there were two experiences that required attention from the management for improvement. Firstly, after checking in, we found that there were no towels available in our room. We requested some from the front desk, but they were still not delivered by the time we returned from dinner, necessitating another follow-up. Secondly, after we had transferred to another resort, my husband realized he had left his charger at Unwind. Despite calling the hotel's mobile number, we were unable to reach anyone, so we decided to drive back (a 26km journey) to retrieve it. Unfortunately, when my husband inquired about the charger, he was informed that housekeeping had not found it. We are certain that it's the only place where we left the charger because we still used it in the evening. We just forgot to unplug it when we checked out and transferred to another resort."

"I stayed there before. Then I booked this place again for my friend. He stayed there for more than a week and he had a good experience.
Good location near the beach with outside facilities.
The only problem he had was the noise in the morning.

"We had 3 pleasant nights there.
It is quiet and you only hear the waves and the wind.
The houses are in Bamboo and we slept very well.
The staff is very accomodating, very professional and speak a very good english.
They really make sure that you enjoy your stay, and in case of issue with some planned activities (For example if the sea become too dangerous), then they offer immediately other activities to compensate.
We will definitely come back"

"The hotel itself as a lot of potential. Right on the beach, with a nice terrace and in a quiet location not far from a few restaurants. However, it is very old and would need a full renovation. The rooms are spacious but the amenities are old. The headboard of our bed was full of termites and we could hear them behind us while we were sleeping. Therefore, the whole room was also full of flying termites. It was overall not that clean either. We stayed there for 4 nights and they never came to clean the room, not even the bathroom’s bin. On the last day, the bathroom started smelling like mold. The smell was very strong and we couldn’t do anything to change that. Also, on our last day, we were supposed to leave at 3:30am to go take our 4:30am ferry, the reception having organized a pick-up for us. However, we were woken up by the reception at 2:15am saying our pick-up was already here. The pick-up told us when we were telling him that we were supposed to leave at 3:30am to take the ferry at 4:30 that this ferry didn’t exist and we had to leave now, which we ended up doing. At the pier, when we saw that the 4:30am ferry actually existed, we texted the guy from the pick-up and this time he said that the hotel’s reception had told him to come pick us up at 2:15am. Anyways, I don’t know where was the problem and misunderstanding, but it was not the best way to start our day… To sum up, very mixed feelings about this hotel."

"Great Value for the Price!
I recently stayed at GV Hotel Camiguin and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. While the place is quite simple and budget-friendly, it definitely offers great value for the price. The staff were very accommodating and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay even more comfortable.
One thing I truly appreciated was the sense of security — CCTV cameras are installed throughout the premises, giving me peace of mind during my stay. The location is also a big plus! It’s conveniently situated near key spots, it’s right behind Jollibee, making it easy to get around whether you’re traveling for business or leisure.

"It's about 7️⃣ to 🔟minutes by TukTuk from the airport. It's located a little to the north and west. The resort's own garden can directly see the white island. The garden is also very beautiful. I stayed at this resort for four nights and five days, one night. It is a room facing the seaside garden where you can directly see the coral white sand island. It is very enjoyable. There is a huge toilet, sofa, kitchen, refrigerator, etc. The room has air conditioning, TV, ceiling fan, toilet, ventilation fan, etc. Toiletries can also be provided upon request. The boss is a Westerner, who looks like someone from France and Italy. The wife of the boss is a local and seems to be a very capable woman. The overall service is very good, but because of the island relationship, power outages and network instability are very common things, as island players know (luxury hotels like Madai are not included in the comparison). If there is no internet in the evening, go and chat with the waiter at the English corner. There is a tall waitress with a nice smile. She is lively and fun. She is a fan of domestic idol dramas. She is shy when talking about Chinese male stars. Face. The recommended dinner of chicken and mushroom pasta was the best thing I had in that time (see picture). They are also very active in planning and helping to order TukTuk or multicab. We even got to know each other later and even helped me inquire about the price of the Cebu city tour after I left the hotel, which was very considerate. The hotel guests are mainly Westerners and middle-class local guests. There is also a motorcycle rental service (it is recommended that you know how to drive a motorcycle and have a domestic driver's license. For others, it is recommended to rent a driver because there are many mountain roads and it is not safe)."

"Staying at Kokomo made our trip to Camiguin so much better! Irene the owner and her partner David are wonderful hosts. They made our stay smooth by assisting with scooter hiring, booking tours, giving tips about what to do in the island and much much more.
The room size is very good, shower is hot, aircon was working perfectly (the room was cool after 5 minutes) and the bed mattress is very comfortable! We also had hangers outside to dry our dive gear and wet clothes.
The pool area and gardens are very beautiful and well maintained, the staff were always tidying up the place and cleaning.
The dive shop at the resort is super good with clean and new looking equipment. The dive guides we had were super attentive and friendly, we had a lot of fun! The reef in front of the hotel is very good for snorkeling.
The resort has a very peaceful vibe, Irene and David made us feel like we were home! We stayed for seven nights and at the end I didn’t want to leave haha
I would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone."

GGuest UserIt is very beautiful here, a green rice field, with the right flowers and plants, and the beach on the other side, the villa is very coordinated overall. Hotel rooms are small, small and beautiful. The garden view villa is like a hanging building, with a bathtub on the balcony, and an outdoor sofa on the balcony on the other side. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with hot showers, and the balcony can also see the sea view and you can take a walk on the hotel's beach. The hotel has a nest of yellow and white shorthaired cats, very cute. There are also cockroaches and dogs. The waiter was very welcoming and the service was good. Welcome drinks were provided at check-in.
The breakfast booked is 350p per serving. You can choose from 5 breakfasts. The category is not rich enough. The Filipino breakfast is mainly served on the balcony. You need to use the instant coffee provided in the room for breakfast.
The villa is soundproofed and the drumming outside is heard.
The network here is intolerable to me, and the hotel's WIFI24 cannot access the Internet for an hour! The mobile phone Global signal is weak, most of the time can not access the Internet, can not upload documents. During the stay, there was an important remote work. I could take my mobile phone to explore around to see where there was a network signal. It turned out that the global signal of the hotel next to it was very good, and I finished my work outside the hotel next to it.
I would not choose here if I knew this network status when booking a room. The hotel introduction page does not provide a truthful description of this network status.

El wifi funciona correctamente. Calidad precio es genial. Con nevera, y todo lo necesario para cocinar. Televisión con diferentes plataformas para hacer más amena tu estancia. Agua del tiempo en la ducha, pero como en la mayoría de alojamientos de la ciudad. Situado en una zona tranquila. Muy recomendable. GGuest UserVery quiet location a little away (100m) from the main road. Requests or small repairs are taken care of immediately. The breakfast is tailored to the guest's wishes and the entire staff is extremely friendly. I have rarely experienced such warmth, thank you for that. Tours can be booked cheaply directly at the hotel; the driver and guide will cater to all your wishes. The pool, the rooms and the entire complex are very clean, the toilets make a big difference here compared to other resorts, rarely experienced as clean. Motorbikes can be booked directly here at an attractive price
The only point of criticism is the lack of a refrigerator/minibar in the upscale rooms and is actually standard in this class. But don't be afraid of warm drinks, you can use the fridge in the kitchen downstairs.
In summary, if you want to relax and have a great atmosphere, this is the right place for you.

The pool attached to the room offers a beautiful night view, and the atmosphere is great, combined with the lava decorations unique to volcanic islands.

NNelly!Just got home from a 12-day, 4 provinces trip in northern Mindanao and staying at this property was the cherry on top.
A nice little slice of paradise in Camiguin where its strategic location makes u experience sunrises to the right and sunsets to your left.
Clean, well-appointed and well-maintained property with five available rooms makes it all the more intimate and private. The staff is what makes this hotel stand out! They are more than willing to help and please their guests. As a solo traveler, they made me feel like family, which I appreciated very much. I stayed a total of 6 nights cause I kept extending!
If I was to nitpick, the water pressure is a bit of a challenge but it’s not their fault , though. They do make it up with a bucket and a dipper.
Breakfast, although limited is good and done properly Brewed coffee is really good. Beer and fresh fruit shake available at very reasonable prices.
Thinking of booking it? Hesitate no more! You won’t regret it.

SS BizOur quick stay was nice. The pool was spectacular! We enjoyed it so much! Our room was okay. We were initially offered with a bigger room as there were 5 of us but we chose to stay in the 4 person cabana as we found the bigger room stuffy and the toilet was sunken. The receptionist was very nice and quick to respond to this request. Our cabana was fine but the hotel could look into ”child proofing” the room as the double deck corners are a bit dangerous. We had to wrap the corners with bath towels. The sliding doors of the toilet and shower room could also do a little maintaining as they were already rusty. We loved the garden and surrounding area. It was so serene and gave us a very relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for morning coffee. The chicken bbq we had for dinner by the pool area was very tasty. Our breakfast was okay. The location is good. It's not too far from the airport and walkable distance to the White Beach Port (around 30 mins) and restaurants. There's also a scooter renting place in front of the hotel entrance. The staff were very warm and helpful. They allowed us to store luggage in the reception area upon checkout while we went to the White Beach and wait for pick up. 李李The locals were very simple. When they dropped off, they lost their phones on the car and found them at the airport. One hour and ten minutes before departure, the airport staff immediately asked for help, returned to the hotel immediately with the help car, contacted the hotel to see if the driver remembered the license plate, tried to contact the driver, found multiple people, and finally contacted another driver to inform the driver. Already waiting at the airport with a handcart, immediately flew to the airport. Finally got the phone to catch the plane. Thanks to everyone on the island who helped me!
