"The hotel is very convenient as it's located in the central city, Every attraction and food outlet is approx 10 to 15 minutes walk which I don't mind. The hotel provides a breakfast buffet all day and dinner from 6pm to 9pm. The customer service is very professional and friendly! I got a king bedroom that also includes air conditioning which is very cosy. The bed is very comfortable, however am not really a fan with soft pillows.
They have plenty of amenities and facilities in the room, i love the experience and have a nice sunrise view in the morning. Would definitely recommend to family and friends to stay."

The mattress is super comfortable and supportive. Very good sleep.

"The location is very good, just opposite the Octagonal Pavilion. The hotel facilities are a bit old, which is why I like it, including the elevator buttons, which are old but well maintained and function normally. There is a casino in the hotel, which is doing good business."

"Cost-effective, the real thing is better than the picture. (When looking at the picture, I felt that the big red bedding was very strange, but in fact, the scene was very harmonious and comfortable) The location is excellent, just next to Otago University, it is very convenient to walk to the museum. There is a washing machine and dryer, 6 yuan to wash once, drying extra pay, 9 am to 9 pm, you can go to the front desk to change coins. In addition, children need to pay an extra 30 yuan on site. The boss reminded that recently because it was the graduation season, it might be noisy at night, but there was no noisy feeling at night, very quiet. It is the time to check out in the morning, the neighbors' movements will be clearer. Recommended accommodation!"

"Breakfast is good, the room is beautiful! And staying here can get rid of all the tickets for the castle, I think it is still worth it. Students who are not self-driving can come here from the airport by pick-up bus, which is much cheaper than taking a taxi."

CCXGreat stay! Love the service provided by the concierge staff upon our arrival, did not manage to catch his name but he was fantastic! He was detail oriented and sincere with his service. Especially after a long drive up to Dunedin, he made sure we were well taken care of :)
Room booked was quite tiny, so not recommended to book this room type if you are travelling with big luggage. Room was also quite perfumed - which would've been better if it was much more subtle.

GGuest UserKudos to the check in staff, particularly, Sally Guo and Aaron who are both helpful n hospitable in assisting my family especially my hubby who needs accessible toilet n Sally took the trouble to find us a room for that purpose. Also the additional night booked with Dunedin Lodge simply worth it as they made sure we transfer to another room with ease in terms of checkout n checkin time. Next to botanic gardens n 5 mins walk to supermarket n local community are what I'd consider n recommend to all who'd like to find a suitable n excellent accommodation.

GGuest UserLeviathan Hotel is a classic hotel with a nice interior of the common areas (wooden stairs, old fashioned furniture etc.) and an old style elevator and keys for the doors. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My rooms is in the small side and if your want a super new and spotless hotel this one is a little bit old and worn which is part of its charm.

But its biggest advantage is that it is in the city center, very close to the most popular and beautiful station, the Octagonal Square, and other places.
